You do know instead of asking 3+ times the same thing nobody seems to want to do, you could just get an earlier save that works and play your way back up ? It's not like you got ~20% more to go anyway

And if by some weird miracle it happened to another noodle, he cheated/mod and the game fucked. Are you a filthy cheater too ? Once you start unfailing and actually play the game, you'll notice that you get better junk to sell. Like 10k$ a piece, then you get plants, then the safe. You can farm 100k in about 5 mins. But keep pretending you know what you're doing with 2 Madalyns and it's the game's fault, you make a good laugh

Anyhow to your money issues : since you seem to have been cheated already a lot ( 2 Mads ??? ) just grab your save states and alter variable 2 to your desired amount and voila you became gazillionaire !

There was a hard cap on $ around v20 and below, stuff started to fuck up pretty good then (like all the "Madalyn isn't there but the game tells me to go see her for the pirate book"). Good times to be had back then

I call bullshit.

I'm playing two versions, neither of which are modded. On one version, I do no farming, no fishing, and pick up whatever spawns in the normal course. No renovations, or booty calls, but I've never been stuck for money to progress the story. On the other, I've cleaned out Squallmart and still have $15MM and nowhere to spend it.

If you don't have the time or the attention span to do it, it's ok. But, don't whinge that it can't be done.

...........all these mental giants who 'reinstall Windows' or 'reformat their HDD' and lose all their saves, are they really that remedial, or are they just faking some sort of excuse in the hopes that it will generate sympathy and be more likely to get people to share saves? (Which do not have to be requested in the first place, since there's a link to "All Saves" on the OP of this thread)

I don't know what version you're playing, but it has been almost comically easy to earn loads of money in this game for like 4 or 5 months worth of updates. Almost to the point where 'money' in game doesn't really have any purpose. Just run around collecting talismans and plants and such, and sell them off. Plus there's MC's share of the money earned through the sale of Love Potions, which accrues off-screen during gameplay, just be sure to go to the safe in the backroom at Squallmart to cash out... seriously, doing literally nothing but walking around the map earns you money at this point.

Fun fact : every1 and their mom formats their HDD +/- 1 hour around new update release, never before that day nor after. It's also cyclic in every 2 weeks and not 1 of those ever has backups. It's almost like people willingly throw themselves around to be laughed at, not that it should be surprising at this point considering the sheer amount of pure IQ power displayed around the thread. And that's just for this 1 point of pure fail, I'm not even talking about the 485709485749865 other as epicly facepalming as this

I found somewhat much much better to get rich in 10 Minutes, running in and out to Sophias Villa, outside her Gate, i was able to collect Money, now i got under 10 Minutes 10.000U$, easy earned Money with a bit Patience.
