Is there a reason why the linux and other non windows versions are always updated way later? What's the point of that? Just compile them at the same time.

I really try to be a nice guy, but post like yours make it really hard not to say something offending.

The reason is simple: Every player can use the Windows version or the Windows update-only files to make their own Linux or Mac version. If people don't know how to do that then it is their own fault, instructions have been posted in this thread several times. Also, there are several post about that topic in the Tools & Tutorials section of this forum. All people have to do is to learn to read, learn how to use the search function and look beyond their own horizon.
