Are you kidding me ? Mega is slow for you ? Even Anonfiles reach about 500KB on a rainy day but as I looked at the update files they are around 400 MB each... So why can't wait till it downloads ?

Always funny, but also terrifying to see how many people here complain about supposed bugs. And in most of all cases at the end it turns out that the "bug" came about through cheats. Pretty much every thread warns against cheats, precisely for this reason. People just don't learn. I also wonder, why cheats in TON are even needed, at all. Is the game this difficult? Maybe just play the game the way it is intended. It takes a little longer, but you don't miss a thing.

I have never used a cheat in all these years. And I've never had a game breaking bug.

Also, most bugs stem from 3 things :

#1 : too much $ (useless to start with)
#2 : compressed/uncompressed
#3 : failing at basic copy/pasting folders with updates
#3.5 : using a mod (red thingy) that was removed almost a year ago, yet some dudes still manage to fuck themselves with it

Get people to stop sucking at those 3 things and you just fixed 99%+ of every fake problem and cut the thread in over 1/2 pages number

Are you using a VPN, if so then disable it it when downloading. MEGA free version has a file limit of 5GB. If you download with VPN running, Then when MEGA pauses the download switch the VPN to a different country/server.

1. Implies cheating from the get-go
2. This can't be helped by another person...
3. A solution for this is to remove all other folder than the www
3.5 Also can't be helped by another person... and it is not just the red thingy

As to how many pages would be lost to these fixes... I'm not too optimistic but it would certainly cut a big chunk !
BTW : You left out the I can't find this or that in the thread...

^ Or just copy out your save, start the game, save over the same slot, exit, copy back your original save, overwrite. Less hassle but way more things could go wrong, which is also a win-win for us in here

Either you put them in the wrong slot or the defaultglobal does not have intel from that save slot hence you need to create it... ultimately it is another issue that when you are done with the save state switcheroo the game will not show at first the correct number of said state you need to engage in it and make another save on it to make it correct itself ! BTW : a very unwise choice to use haxed states

You need to start the game and create a save first. That sets up all the User data parameters for the game to see the saves and their locations

^ Yes and no. If dude saves in slot 1 but gets cat's save from slot 8, the game won't see it and won't display it in the list

Okay so I just need to create the save, then overwrite it. Thanks for all the answers, not sure why it's programmed like that. Other RPG Maker games just simply allow you to paste the save file in the designated area then loads it.

Either NLT leaves the saves in the same folder and people fuck things up epicly every 2 weeks when failing massively at updating or moves saves away and you need to actually have basic knowledge of stuff to go alter them. Both cases will of course show us how much humanity devolved back within the 1.5 year since the game's 1st release

Not to mention that deleting the User Date folder in no way affects the game, which creates all the missing files the next time you start

Careful ! There are situations where you need to delete the whole user path ( using the well known rpgmaker mv cheat editor will ultimately lead to this !!! ) but if you steer clear of these wonky stuffs then you have nothing to worry about !

PS : these tools under circumstances will alter the defaultglobal too which will render your next new gameplay also corrupt ! So it is a possible scenario where you need to remove all saves save path and game as well... and need to redownload a fresh version too ! But this is something that hopefully will never occur to you !
