Well Artists are incuded. While the art is nice, having a graphics team does not make a text based RPG, look at all the HTML / RPGM games on the site with Gifs but no content or full of JRPG grinding asking for more patreon money.
To be fair, Savin and his COC2 game is all great - even though Savin probably allows only the game authors to complete the events. It just seems like TITs is lagging...
That is because Savin poached the writers from TITS and made then sign exclusive contracts not to work on other games including TITS. Wsan who wrote Amber and Lund was paid to finish Amber and Lund from fans but now he cant finish them due to his new exclusive contract with Savin to work on COC2.
Eh Wsan said on the forums he just left TITS because he can't handle working on two projects its too much work for him so I doubt its Savin forced him to only work on CoC2
If that right there doesn't open the eyes of their little cult fanbase to his shit work ethics and practices, nothing will. This fuck can't even finish a text based game but he wants to do something a bit more graphical in the vain of Steampunk (with demons!)
Should we treat this as a teaser that TiTs is gonna get CoC'ed? With a lame ass endboss fight that would make picking your nose more enjoyable? And there is no way in hell anyone would mod it to fix it since the CoC modders gets shit thrown at them in the past. At least CoC died and reborn with the revamp mod. This one will die out with nothing but big chunks of patreon cash.
TiTS, yes. COC2, we don't know yet. We'll have to see if Savin drags the game out for 6+ years to answer that.
But of course. I can't see them having too much stuff done by the time they get around to finishing the project of Recoding most of the fucking game. Who ever is on coding duty for that will probably be so burned out that they'll probably quit working on the game. The game will probably end in some rushed
Wasn't the winter palace stuff supposed to be the end of act 1? At the current pace I'd be amazed if we even get an ending after 6 years, especially after seeing how this game seems to do almost anything to avoid progressing the main story. I'm expecting them to say something about recoding the game soon if they haven't already.
The worst part about this is that every one of their games has had the same shallow/linear dungeon design to the point I can't even hope to see anything else out of the ending. At most I could see some sort of ME2 suicide mission writing, where waifu characters might have an extra scene or "help" at the end, but given how most of the content in their games have been independent from the rest of the universe... I doubt it. I honestly expect to get there and see not only a boring walking simulator w/boss rush, but an ending written to spite the players for wanting them to finish the game.
Well, the only reason that TiTS needed to be recoded is because Fen somehow managed to avoid every single article and post about Flash support being discontinued post-2020, until now. COC2 is done in like, Javascript or some other variant, so they don't have to worry about that.
To be honest, I wouldn't care if COC2 gets dragged for 6+ years if they keep the steady stream of high-quality content, and when they do finish it, it isn't half-assed.
No one can keep a project like either of these going for 6+ years without everyone getting bored and tired of their own work. That's just wishful thinking. I would like to think that Savin would have the idea to finish the game before that happened. You can only write how ever many ways to fuck any orifice on a body before you've written it all and the only thing that changes per scene is the person getting fucked.
Some you can meet, help out, fuck, and recruit them as your ship crew member. Check the wiki for list of possible member. Once you unlocked the ingame tinder, you can meet and have a one night stand with some partner. Romance is varied as well. Some follow you around ship and some stays on their places. Try it out with all the girls. And boys and herm. Whatever suits your taste.
True, though he could always find new writers to replace the current ones in like 5 years or so
