It's wierd though. If it's their product shouldn't they still have the rights to these characters? Unless it's like a contract or something with money involved. Like couldn't they just on a random day decide to delete her if they want to or would that go into illegal territories?

less a legal issue, I think it's more a social one. Most people feel that a character still belongs to the writer. if they just added or changed something without the writer's permission, and the writer disapproved, there could be big negative feedback, especially with new writers. Why offer your ideas and hard work, if they're just going to mess with it?

Have you ever heard about giving a neutral answer and not adding all the sass to it? That's what Savin lacks and if he gets shit for that just because someone was curious i'm more than happy to see people arguing how rude Savin is. The cherry on the cake would be if people stop giving money or his reputation shatter at some point. The princess might think getting away with everything is some sort of birthright but you always meet twice in life.

I remember fen saying at one point, that him and his team doesn't like to write or change anything about characters that they didn't write themself because it feels like they are "raping them".
(can't find the source tho, it's been a long time and i don't feel like searching for it)
So, in the end, like lazyrick said, it's more of a social issue.

I predict that TiTs & CoC2 will have unfinished and broken characters at the end of their game just like CoC had and the Devs & writers will do nothing to solve this, If the community fixes or finishes the characters they will be hit with a Cease and Desist as that is what happened in CoC.
It's this; people wouldn't have a problem with Savin if he didn't come across as such a massive cunt. If he actually learnt how to be diplomatic than he would have more of a positive reputation.
They already do
TiTs is never going to be finished, it's just gonna coast on the patreon gravy train for as long as pay pigs are willing to give money for low effort "coding"
CoC2 will probably be abandoned in the near future as people stop wanting to deal with Savin and the wieght of needing to keep 4+ regions updated becomes too much to handle when no one is giving you content
Giving either of these people money is a total waste. You'd get more use out of burning it for heat in the winter
sure feels like most the content they do give every whenever the hell can be done by a single person in less than a few hours

if people keep paying a load monthly for 2 games in dev at once.....
still getting written for and stuff, writing does take a decent chunk of time. although any actual story pacing is completely dead.
people keep whining about there being "orphaned" content but tbh these games are, for whatever reason, deved over the course of years, I think TiTs is at five now right? People come and go, it's incredibly awkward to write someone else's character. Even the voice of the writer is different, like how the guy who is now doing cloud nine writes everything completely patronizingly, etc.
i think tits is bad but that's cuz of the setting and tone, not the content. shrug.

If it were that easy everyone would be doing it. The editing, coding, and story elements/smut is a challenge you actually have to make it appealing whilst not having it look like shitty erotica from fanfiction.net, and that's not to mention the artwork depending on the artist you'd spend thousands of dollars on a few dozen art pieces.

i know coc has it own forum and i could check everywhere on google, but i was wondering if i wanted the most expansive coc mod, which one would it be?
