Again no error for me, granted I do use ancient version of ren'py anyway and the code used will break in 8 for some reason, at least the few test runs I did. However, that being said, the styles are copied ren'py defaults (from screens.rpy), could have used them but made separate styles simply because I needed to alter them to be more visually clear, namely forcing using the default font although that reminded me to change things for the variable page as well. So take that as you will.

Yes it doesn't cause an error in renpy7 I mentioned the style_prefixs cause those lines don't do anything. The reason it causes an error in 8 is that you are applying the style_prefix to an element that doesn't accept a style_prefix. Renpy 7 just ignores it 8 throws an error. Commenting out those lines will result in the page looking no different, or at least it will with version 0.15s code.

Right, yes, got what you mean there, sorted, and fixed the issue with them not looking any different. They will look what they are supposed to in 0.17.0. 7.6 actually tossed an error, but I use 7.3.5. As I said ancient, but I have my reasons for using it, for now.

it's not computer stats issue, even my 10 years old computer runs this and others fine (besides scrolling images from bottom to up tend to break (become jigsaws)). it's netspeed issue, not every1 has 10 GB fibre net, many use mobile connection which has limited amount of data and speed available and with that won't be dl'd any 4+ Gigs games.

There is no need for "10 GB fibre net" - anyway it´s no prob with my standard mobile net (nominal up to 40 Mbit/sec).
For example HoneySelect2 BetterRepack 68 GB to download let torrent running over night easy way.

So what whining about 10GB

How do you "install" this that the exe may cause this error?

After downloading the .7z file, extracting with 7-Zip, moving into my games folder, creating shortcut to the exe on desktop and that´s it.

well 10 GB was bit exaggerating since even 100 MB is just fine, not all have unlimited dataplan on mobile and avns fill that quota quickly unless dls heavily compressed versions.

Hello all!

So uploading happening, net has been slightly pain but it should be done relatively soon, I hope. Hopefully, it's a bit later today. But that's assuming there isn't a sudden storm that knocks out my power or net. But should be done tomorrow the latest.

Writing has moved to 21 once I actually sit down and write, that is. Not entirely happy about how 20 rolled out, it's all there, but I'm not happy about the pacing at the moment. But I'll sort it out once I render it.

Beyond that, the rendering of 0.17.0 has started. Although it took a while to get it started properly, lighting a scene so you can see something while being "realistic" can be a tad pain in the backside.



A bit more orcs, it's a short scene at the start of the update to show the supply delivery. We don't linger with them too long. And this is the render I was talking about. I like the "realistic" version better, but you wouldn't be able to see much in it. Also, this is a "day time" render. It's just raining, so it's dark.



Then just something to put me in right mood, been annoying day for most parts so. Something to make things a bit better. Also amusingly, didn't notice it before. Miki's kimono does have a blue dragon on it. Anyway, back to rendering and uploading. That and rebooting the router again since the speed went to crawl.

And there isn´t any problem with bigger files, here only the quality is counting

Fortunately mine is unlimited - but I´m talking about a WLAN Router, here in Austria we call that "mobile" in contrast to a cable bounded network.
Nothing to do with mobile phone net.
