well that "googirl" looks humanoid but isn't really.
still arms, legs tits and pussy still humanoid to me,just goo on the inside, not "alien" enough for where i'd say non humanoid.
sure the actual properties off said "goo" are very inhuman etc.
personally i'd say the centaurs are the least humanoid mentioned inter-sexual species, off possible LI's gladelings with their lower half's being beast like and having horns & fur.

i believe your confusing human and humanoid(appear in the likeness off a human (bipedal ,sentient beings, penis/pussy & breasts))

don't remember a lot from TRS but i'd put medusa's on the same level as centaurs in TOAM ,aside from that it was only the swamp trolls that were getting close to that.

altough tbh the troll's/ogre's always remind me mostly off oversized(tall) entitled feminazi's with a skin tone (rude, loud short haired & unattractive)

last update with dragon, before that with ogre, before that with dee............ gladeling. Have you even played game?
yes I have, what i'm saying is I'd like more of it, it wasn't a complaint.

Between this, Sentinel and Sorcerer, this is where I've most enjoyed the non-humans.

trs: various aliens even 1 "furry"
sorc: same as this and mythological creatures

Hello all!

Now then, tomorrow is a build day. So that means I'll be writing (and uploading) most of the weekend. Today I've mostly been doing codex renders. The biggest hurdle is the loading times of the characters, some can load in seconds, some take minutes, and it all piles up.

There are so many things I would love to show you guys and gals, but there is a certain fine line between revealing too much and being safe to show. Some of the ideas (and tests I do) do end up being as hidden renders, albeit somewhat modified to fit the events in the world. This may sound somewhat ironic, but one of the "problems" that creative minds has is the abundance of ideas, and you do spend a lot of time shifting through ideas that fit to what you are creating, or are even good idea in some cases. And frankly there are a lot of abandoned ideas. Some because they didn't fit, some because they were (or are) impossible to create. But there is a silver lining for all of these thoughts and ideas, and that comes from having multiple settings. Several ideas I thought, and rejected for ToaM will fit Sorcerer simply because they are found in mythology as well, just need to expand from the usual Greek, Germanic, Celtic and Nordic mythologies... And some might fit nicely in certain Science Fiction thing. As for this specifically? Fight in a ruined city in the clouds... Could have picked someone else than the Necromancer there but haven't rendered him in a while so why not?

Anyway, have a great weekend you all!

disney is gonna sue tal, lightsabers are their properties.
Considering there is an actual sword inside of the effect nothing they could do even if I would call them lightsabers, names can't be copyrighted afterall. Trademark wouldn't apply since the design is completely different.

Energy swords go back to the 30s & 40s pulp SF days if not even further.
Aye. And depending what you count, bible has a couple swords made out of fire. Beowulf had a sword made of light etc...

And while the word isn't protected as is by copyright it's protected by trademark, but it needs be specific design and implementation, aka in most cases it needs to be a toy, now if you can make a real functioning one the thing the trademark wouldn't matter as it wouldn't be toy in that case >.> But to avoid headaches for overzealous lawyer it is better be called something else. Lasersword, plasma sword, plasma blade, beam saber... etc...

Funny coincidence, in Germany lightsabers were called "Lichtschwert" or "Laserschwert" for a long time, which translate to Lightsword and Lasersword. Even now I would say most Germans outside of actual Star Wars fans call them "Laserschwert" and not "Lichtsäbel" which would be the accurate translation of lightsaber.
