Why can't I rape all the LIs and still have them love me afterwards, I don't get why the game wants to punish me?!?

Ehh, there was no rape. The MC never raped anyone. You first had an event in which you basically establishes that the MC and the girl are now a thing and the next event leads to consensual sex.
Also everything is pretty nuanced but rape in a sense that the girls never wanted to have sex and he brutally just forced himself on them never happens. Just sayin.

This isn't a porn porn game, this is a misery porn game, made by a person that seems to miss the whole point of these games, the genre he's writing in, and why people play them, on purpose.

The DMC vs Devil May Cry 5 conundrum. Shit on your audience/charactes , loose money and reputation in the industry, immediately go back to normal as if the decision never happened. Though given that was Capcom it was the be expected. There are multiple parts of OOT (usually the recaps) that are either storyanon honestly ranting about the monotony/sameness of AVN's or he is an oscar winning actor and for some reason decided to put all that acting ability into making people think he was not a huge fan of developing porn games?

I can understand why an author/creator would feel limited by their genre but at the end of the day nobody at any point put a gun to his head and said "ur purpose is to make weeb bait porn" (other than the crushing heel of capitalism) but tropicali was an abject failure at attempting to "stick it to the coomers", the biggest reasons for this are that for well over a year him "sticking it to coomers" amounted to: a single line in the intro saying fernando ruins these girls, and maybe the "easy" mode choice being called gooner mode?

It wasnt until the last second (where he could not lose money for it) that he full sent it by adding a character who has maybe a few dozen lines, claimed she was actually the most important person in the world to fernando (without showing it in any way shape or form), and then (offscreen) killing her so that he can not only "stick it the coomers" by having an LI question them only to have her "taken away" but done in such a way that she can come back in the sequel! Conveniently whenever he needs some extra of that dirty, evil, vile coomer money

If Juni was part of the game the entire time or she died in the first update but was the impetuous for fernando "being fernando" it would be actually "subversive" and would serve the (ingame) purpose she was clearly made for but as it stands now all she does is show that storyanon wants to be deeper than he feels like he is allowed to be, while resenting the people (coomers) who "hold him back" all while still needing to eat regardless of how cum-stained the money is.

Its made even more sad or funny (depending on how you feel about StoryAnon) by the fact that there are games that do show the "bad" aspects of the genre, that StoryAnon is a fan of at least one "highly rated" example to the point that he had CJ literally wear a shirt advertising the game for an entire update

Nobody likes being lectured in any media, especially ones whose whole purpose is to be "escapism" like porn and harem genre in particular, (we know it's not realistic, you bumbling midwit). This guy literally doesn't get it, which proves he's not as smart as he thinks he is. He just torpedoed the bulk of interest in any future projects. All this did (especially given he stated its part of the same universe of his main game) was make him look petty/obnoxious as a creator at best, or flat out moronic otherwise.

If he wants to stop making h-games, there's nothing stopping him from doing that aside from him wanting other people's money. Giving a metaphorical spit in the face to his own backers is a very fast way to force himself to do something else. If that's his goal, he is doing a good job at doing THAT.

Yeah, for example at the end when Mio got blood over her face and she looked to Fernando it feels like she got a orgasm or a rush right there with the only thought in mind. I found a King...or smth because King being a running theme in the game.

Also maybe don't go for Jess, Kaoru or Laoise and only for Gloria so you get this awesome scene but won't fuck over those 3 as much.

The ending changes depending on how you play the game. It's really just the choices you make during the scenes, not the business sim part. It's a weird game for sure, on one hand, the narrator tries to make you feel bad for hooking up with the girls but then if you don't it calls you a pussy or straight up says that since you will only hold the girl's hand he won't even bother making a render for it. At least the business filler is easy and doesn't revolve around some super meatboy frustration-level mini-game.

The girls look good, the scenes aint bad and I didn't pay for it so thumbs up. If you don't like the meh story and condescending narrator just hold ctrl...

Yeah, I know. I am not saying the game contains rape, I am saying that the crying over not getting a happy non-manipulative harem-incest ending is like crying over the MC not being loved by a LI that the player choose to rape. IE actions can have consequences even in porn games.

I like harem games where a harem is culturally acceptable, and therefore way more realistic. Don't get me wrong - there are plenty of modern-day-setting harem games that are good because the story is good and your suspension of belief starts way before the harem does (Eternum). Even if the settling is unrealistic but harem fits the culture (Desert Stalker) I think that's the better kind of harem. Tropicali was great throughout - the scenes were amazing. We knew the MC was toxic and gaslighting all of these girls if we chose to. But without claiming to be 'x' religion, how else are you going to obtain a harem in modern times? MC isn't a billionaire, but he does have a silver tongue and knows how to choose broken women.

Honestly, the setting, the music, the renders, the dialogue, we ALL fantastic. I just went into it actually reading the beginning and knowing I wasn't stepping into the shoes of a good guy.

Something like you and me and her, or PC this is not the level of subversion/polarization is closer to lessons in love in subtlety and quality and is only really present in 4 events throughout the game

The "gooners are bad now suffer for porn" ending results in the the 5 or 6 of the 8 main cast (sorry juni lol) characters ending being better or no change including the MC

Most people who back someone tend to hold back on criticism for someone whose projects they like(d). One can like OOT and/or its premise (which I do find interesting) and find Tropicali's conclusion to be genuinely bad. By your own admission there have been some other backers who didn't like it either. So there's an obvious disconnect with your comment here.

Regardless, I hope this will just let them focus on OOT. Simple as that.
