Takes a while between updates, but one can see the results in it, the care taken to make story feel progressive, and how chars move, even when not moving, still realistic, no weird clipping on stretching on the characters.

Why try and make a RenPy duplicate? Just use the engine. I miss the rollback function. Will any saves made be available to future updates? The story is ok and the models alright. We will see how it further rolls out.

Exactly, i could speculate that he is spending the money on hookers and that's why he isn't devoloping the game, i could say anything, in the end we don't know, so it's a failed argument.
$1100 is 2~ months of subs, well worth it if you really want the project to evolve.
120 renders (not couting animations) in the time he delivered the update was 2 renders per day, enough said there.
One thing i usually don't get, why are the players defending the game for him, and i'am not asking this because of the answers to me, it's in general, what is beneficial for you as a player if you just accept milking? Nothing... everything stays the same, arguably people should talk with their wallets but unfortunately it's not always like that.
I'am done answering here, i got my point across with my first post and don't intend to stretch the topic.
According to the dev it takes 2 hours alone for each render in just rendering time.
So assuming that's the case then normal 8 hour work day plus working on the scenes and then rendering them for 4 hours in which he can't use his PC to keep working I can totally see that he is not able to push out tons of renders like other devs with much better hardware and much more time on their hands.
But my point is he is a new dev and it's way to early to judge him based on the milking of much more established devs.

The developer defense force is already jumping up in arms with the same "A Wife and a Mother" recycled lines off:
"Dude, it's a slow burn"
"There was content, story content"
"If you want fast porn, just go find another game!"
The typical strawmans and recycled dogshit arguments that gives developers like these a pass for taking 1 month to give us what literally amounted to a kid trying to put a pair of panties in another room. Not even a creepshot or even a fucking cleavage shot was given.
And Being A Dick continues to be the only porn game worth anything on this dogshit ass website. One of these days, these lapdogs will realize that they're the sole reason all of these games that start off with great potential, turn into 4+ years of non content being milked by the developer.

I said i wasn't gonna answer anymore but i'll just add this, you make the scenes during work time or the time you have available and render during the night while you sleep.

Sorry for enjoying the game so far, but you came to the right conclusion of just ignoring the game from now on if you don't like it.
with the RTX3090 those 1080p renderers are done in about 30min.

what do you mean with 1060?Better get used to it until he gets a better PC or at least a better GPU.
His 1060 is simply not fast enough
VN for me = Android port is necessary. VNs are meant to be portable and relaxed kind of a thing, the major reason why handheld consoles have had the biggest VNs. Hope the dev considers it.
Why do people feel like the devs owe them something? The download is free of charge, either download or don't. If you dislike a game, leave a bad review. It might get removed because it's against reviewing rules to complain about development process, if even a piracy site considers your review inept, it means your opinion sucks.
Not sure if this is a joke or another cruel jab at devs that I usually see on this forum, do you know how much a 3090 costs? 1660's are selling secondhand for $400 right now, the dev makes $600 a month with patreon, are you suggesting he should go on a loss for multiple months in order to save time?

The GPU he is using is a nvidia GTX 1060.
It's a 4 year old GPU which was not high end even back then so it's pretty slow in rendering.
