Hey everyone, it's time for another weekly update!

This week was alright - I've been working on renders and animations for the second spicy scene of Episode 10. I encountered some unexpected problems this week and ended up wasting two days trying to remake a particularly troublesome animation. In the end, I had to give up on it and create a different one from scratch. Pretty annoying, but it shouldn't affect the release date. Keep your fingers crossed for a smoother ride next week.

This week, I also experienced something way nicer - during a random walk around town, I suddenly came up with an idea for the next project, the one after Tune in to the show is done. I've written down a basic premise and some random ideas for it, and I'll continue thinking about it and adding to it while working on Titts. In the past, I often mentioned that most of my ideas didn't seem like they could sell well, but this one seems like a perfect match of being mainstream-friendly and something I'd be excited to work on. Once I've had some more time to think about it, I'll start sharing some first pieces of information :)

Anyway, next week, the main focus will be on creating more animations.

Played this a while back and I liked the premise of it and the characters, but I wasn't fully sold on the whole package. This though, absolutely has me locked in.

So many games die because they get caught in refactor/revision hell, it's dope that RobertDeadth is committing to his vision before he gets caught in that loop. More devs need to be willing to improve as they go.

It's not really that. It's that milking devs have long since realized they can use going back and revising/redoing the early aspects of the game to stall while keeping their supporters on the hook for an ending that will never come.

Same reason why you'll see games where the devs add 2-3 new shallow side love interest characters every new update, rather than focusing on the main love interests or the core story. It's a way to pad out development and buy yourself a few more months worth of Patreon support without having to finish the game.

Devs who have a fairly clear vision of how they want the story to go, or who are already thinking about their next game before they finish their current one, can potentially avoid that trap because they're less worried about losing all of their supporters the moment they end the current game. It's also the model most of the best games on this site will follow - where the dev's main concern was making a good game rather than trying to figure out how to make the most money for the least effort.

Another one of my top 15 favorite AVNs. I really like the story and all the characters in this game (yes, even the other guy). i can't wait for season 2 to be releasedbon Steam so I can buy and play it :)

Yeah, I'd definitely make it smaller somehow - either by having the show only last 2 in-game weeks, having fewer love interests, or however. I started working on TITTS at the end of 2021, and I'll most likely finish it in 2027... Minimum wage in my country is around $1000 per month, so it would be alright if I were making around that much on Patreon, but it's not even close to half of that, so I have to rely on income from Steam, and that can fluctuate wildly from month to month. It's okay for games like Being a DIK and similar to be huge and take years to develop because they're making crazy money, but I think it makes much more sense to focus on smaller games as a less popular developer and hope that one of them gets popular and gains a big following.

If I were finished with TITTS already and could start something new, I'd try to create a smaller project, with like 3 or 4 love interests and around 5 episodes overall, so it wouldn't take more than 2 years to be completed.

If you're asking about changes I'd make in TITTS specifically, I'd definitely change the plot somewhat. A big issue with the game is that the beginning kind of sucks - both when it comes to renders, animations, and writing. That's another problem with huge games - by the time you're done, the earlier parts of the game don't meet the current standards anymore, and new players are turned off. Most of the newer reviews for TITTS are from people playing the first episode (made 4 years ago), saying it sucks, and quitting the game. I'm not saying they're wrong, but it's also hard for me to be that attached to things I made 4 years ago - I know the renders in the first episode aren't great, and the renders from new episodes are better, but the new players never get to them because they're turned off by what I made years ago.

Another funny thing about that is the fact that when the first episode of the game was released, the reviews on f95zone were great (the game's average score was like 4.8), with people praising the renders and writing. And nowadays, new players play the same first episode and shit on the game in reviews, because the standards are much higher than what they used to be. With shorter games, these issues could've been avoided.

Even when it comes to writing, I'm sure I could write a better game now, but I can't exactly change things completely in the middle of the development, so I have to stick with whatever has been established in the plot years ago, even if I dislike it now. I guess that's another problem with games that take years to make - the developer stops liking their own ideas from years ago. When I finish work on a new episode and play through it to test everything, I still enjoy it and think it has some cool, funny, and heartwarming moments, but to be completely honest, I'm not super passionate about it anymore; work feels more like something I have to do and less something I wanna do, if you know what I mean. Which I realise sounds stupid because it is work after all, but people in the creative field probably understand that it's both easier to work on something you like, and the work ends up being higher quality too.

Anyway, thanks for the question; it actually feels nice to talk about it freely. Hopefully, my ramblings won't turn anyone off too much :HideThePain:
As someone who supported the game through itchio, I don't think the rough beginning is the problem. The game has a good and unique premise with a potential mystery and the most logical set up for a harem that I have seen in an avn. The Lis are sexy and likable.

The trouble is two-fold:

1. There's no sense of drama, stakes or challenge to the Mc: The Lis all get along with the Mc and each other, there's no external threat and there is no urgency to resolving the question as to whether this is a show or not and who is not a real participant . I hate bitch Lis, so I'm glad they all treat the Mc right. However, everything and everyone can't get along smoothly. There needs to be something to stir the pot or have us on the edge of our seats.

2. Lack of animations: I think most players prefer games with animations as opposed to none or very little. So that is also bound to affect your earnings from the game.

I like this game, but I'm less interested in it than I was at the start because of those factors, especially the mystery issue. Still playing and wishing you good luck in completing it and moving on to your next idea.

Hey everyone, it's time for another weekly update! Just a quickie this time :p

This week was pretty good! I continued working on the second spicy scene of Episode 10, creating new animations and renders. I was really pleased with one of the new animations. I think it's the best one I've made yet, so I can't wait for you to see it :) Overall, I think the new animations will be a big improvement in Part 2 of the game. Not all of them are on the same level, but I think the average quality will be much higher now, so I'm happy.

Next week, it'll be more of the same, but I hope to be almost (or even fully) done with the animations by the end of the week. When it comes to the release date of Episode 10, I'm still aiming for the end of September. If things go well, I believe releasing it before the last weekend of the month would be great (so probably the 26th or so).

Hey everyone, it's time for another weekly update! Another quickie today :)

This week was a good one - I primarily worked on creating and rendering animations. Just two animations left, so I think tomorrow will be the last day of working on them. There are still things left to be done before Episode 10 is ready, though - some renders, a bit of writing, and a lot of small stuff that will take a bit of time to prepare. I'll try my best to finish everything in the upcoming 2 weeks.

One more thing to mention this week - plenty of other developers are reporting that Steam doesn't allow adult games to be released in Early Access anymore. It's possible that they won't allow Part 2 of Titts to be released in EA either. I won't know for certain until I send them a build of the game for review, which I'm planning to do after Episode 10's release. I'm trying not to think about it for now, but I'm not sure what I would do if this happened, as it'd basically completely ruin my plans for the upcoming 2 years or so. I'll keep you updated when I know more. For now, I'll just pretend nothing's wrong and focus on finishing Episode 10 :')

This week was good! All the animations for Episode 10 are now done, so the most time-consuming job is finally over. There are still several tasks that need to be completed before the game can be released, but I should be able to manage everything by next week.

So, as long as nothing completely unexpected and catastrophic happens, Episode 10 will be released next weekend! It's most likely going to be Sunday (28th), but maybe I'll manage to get it out the day before; I'm not sure yet. In any case, I'm excited to finally release another update. I hope you will like it :)

man i still haven't gotten around to replaying this game and updates I missed since i bought it a few months ago. Tho I think I will get there soon finally. Since I been playing AVN's a bit more lately im hoping to get to it within the next month now im almost caught up on my immediate must play backlogs

Imo you won't be disappointed at least during season 1. The story stays pretty strong throughout and it didn't really have any boring moment to me.
I don't know how season 2 is going, since I'm waiting for it to be done and released on Steam before I'm going to play it.

Imo you won't be disappointed at least during season 1. The story stays pretty strong throughout and it didn't really have any boring moment to me.
I don't know how season 2 is going, since I'm waiting for it to be done and released on Steam before I'm going to play it.
Yeah been over a year I think since I last played maybe more. I can't even remember where I left off in the story anymore. I think last I played was only episode 5 or 6

If you'd like to play the story from the start, you need to play the last version first, then download Part 2 and import your save. If you no longer have the save files from Part 1, don't worry! You can start Part 2 with the recommended setup (harem), or choose a custom start to reflect your preferences.

Since it's been a week since Episode 10 was released, it's now available to all $5+ patrons! :)

Meanwhile, I'll be starting work on Episode 11 tomorrow. Also, I'm currently waiting for a decision from Steam on whether Part 2 can be released in Early Access. Of course, when I decided to split the game into 2 parts and made a store page for Part 2 at the beginning of the year, I didn't even think the game could be rejected. But now, with the drama surrounding adult content, things are very uncertain, and some people even claim that adult games are completely banned from releasing in Early Access on Steam now. I should have the decision sometime in the upcoming few days.

Since my Patreon income doesn't even cover my rent, I really need Part 2 to be released in Early Access so I can actually finish it with relative financial security... If they reject it, I'll have to figure something out, I don't know what. Keep your fingers crossed :HideThePain:

Be interesting to hear if it's rejected or not ngl. Because ive read mixed things on the whole EA thing and don't know what is true.
