Agree with your views however 99.9999% of porn games are slop. I would say 1 out of 1000 porn games is great like this one.

Some are scammers like the Twisted World dev. That game is likely to be exit scam by providing as many as dev logs as possible and disappear without any update.
And trying to dig for any good ones after playing a bunch over the years just gets more difficulty because of the influx of AI-slop

I can't imagine anyone is surprised that the update isn't happening this month either but what is going on with the dev making a whole month's worth of NNN images, preparing more for Christmas, and yet has been delaying the release of the new update for months? Something has to have gone wrong and he's just keeping it quiet again.

Agreed. I def never said those other 70 billion games were good.

But that's really even more to the point : adding to the negativity aimed at a dev only increases the chances that the dev says "Fuck this shit" and quits. So doing this to a dev of the rare game you really like isn't just childish, it is literally self-defeating.

Eh, it's not a conspiracy theory of a dev trying to defeat competition. A lot of people on this site are just stupid. Sadly the dev has already confirmed that he will likely quit if he can't get the next update out faster, because he can't deal with the negativity that happens once enough time since the last update has passed.

Negativity is just from whining minority that don't worth considering. Majority either have things to do between updates or genuinely wondering what's the hold up and "I have a bit of a writer block" is a valid reason for delay in their eyes.

Honesty is the best way to communicate with adult audience (especially if you explain what is the problem, we all people), just don't worry about whining kids that has too much time on their hands, they will whine no matter what and severely lack life experience in the first place.

IIRC, when he posted this, it was less about the negativity than it was about wanting that positive feedback loop more regularly to keep his motivation up... and that's something he said he tended to only get with updates. He wants to release more regularly because he gets energized every time he releases an update and everyone loves it.

Options when an update is long-delayed:

- be patient like a grown up, playing any of the other 70 billion games that exist while you wait

- complain about it even though you are just a pirate leech and everybody definitely wants to get notifications only to find whiny posts that don't add anything to the conversation

What is never an acceptable adult option is to start attacking the dev directly, e.g., by calling them names like an 8-yeoar old.

Updates being delayed can make devs less 'good' devs (if there is a pattern and it isn't a one-time thing). But what is doesn't do is make them bad people ("SOB") deserving character attacks just because their delivery schedule is not up to your standards...as a leech who knows nothing about them and their personal lives.
I agree. You should not attacker dev with unnecessary words. But if these doesn't matter, why are you send messages here go back to your paid page sent message there "complain about it even though you are just a pirate leech and everybody definitely wants to get notifications only to find whiny posts that don't add anything to the conversation"

You said don't attack dev(I agree), you turn around attacking everyone call them 8 years. We're have right of us opinion if something we doesn't like or something doesn't seem right.

then again If you feel because everyone are pirate leech here doesn't matter what is meaning of your comment here for?

Clearly there is a language difference here that is at least a part of the issue, so I will try respond once and then leave it at that. I don't have the patience for a long back-and-forth over semantics when nuance in language is probably part of the issue and unlikely to be solved.

For example, I can't respond to this: "why are you send messages here go back to your paid page sent message there." I have nothing to do with any paid pages, so I can't "go back" there and I truly don't understand what you are trying to say.

Your other point - that I am somehow "attacking" posters who are calling a dev names by pointing out that people who call other people names are usually children doesn't make sense to me. I did not call the poster an 8-year old ad hominem - I compared the poster's behaviour to that of a child of an age where that kind of behaviour is common. That is a significant distinction and conflating the two is either disingenuous or (more likely) another indication that something is being misunderstood because of a language difference.

But I do appreciate your reply because it made me go back and re-read my post to make sure that I had not been a hypocrite and directly called the poster names myself, which would indeed have been just as childish. Since I often write posts faster than my brain can think I was actually glad to be prodded to go back and double-check my own words. (y)

I'm curious of your opinion about big update and take long time like a year? or divide to 4parts 3months each update?

which option do you think better for the games and does consistent matter?

Really such left dawn with this developer, the update should has beeen out already by october at most and he still delayin over little things to say it on sweet words , and no be more crude, oh well is no the first time or the last a developer go like that.

He have a nice plot

He have nice characters portrayed

He have support and to be fair he sort of deserved more suport but now i dont know anymore

He can go on the plot developement one way or another is really really really hard to miss with the game as it is now with the main chars half way deployed.

really thought we could get 2 updates of this game this year but not happening

My opinion is that games and devs are so varied that I have no expectations. I have only played a very small percentage of the games out there, but I prefer more substantive updates to microupdates I guess, so I probably fall into the 'more patient' category of players. DL-ing and extracting updates that turn out to be 20 renders and one animation I find a bit irritating (especially given that the risk of malware is obviously higher if you DL 10+ small updates/year instead of 2 larger updates.

I guess I just generally always hope for updates to content I like rather than demanding them, and I try not to apply expectations based on the release schedule of game "X" or "Y" to any other games I like because the dev is different and that is just not realistic. I will admit that for me and my old brain once you start to hit gaps of close to a year between updates I have probably completely forgotten about your game, but those are the choices/risks that devs have to make for themselves based on numerous factors that we know nothing about in their personal lives. I have had enough bad shit go down in my life that I would never be comfortable insisting that a dev meet any schedule demanded by fans (who don't know anything about that dev's life).
