Just want to point out the factor and as the main reason why chinese don't like this game is related to melena I think it also suits to other players who are also not satisfied about the game, you can see how the commen replied about this since the last update.
And no, from what I know there are many chinese player in this site, just hidden well by using english, even some of the developer are chinese too.

Its not solely a Chinese (or any nationality) player issue, its more to do with how much of an incel a player is

They dont care about "every vagina" because nobody is saying that "unnamed background character #147 that features solely in the scenes set on the train" should be getting scenes. They care that a girl was "real" to them ie given a name and that they cant pursue her.

If this was a game about a "HOUSE THAT MY GRANDMA OWNS" there would be an argument (expectation really) that literally EVERY. SINGLE. female model in the game will have sex with MC but this is not that game like at all. There is so much emphasis and time spent on "realistically" building the harem to the point that "fixing the mistakes" with your family is literally just part of that

The fact that we are as almost 10 updates in while the harem has yet to officially form and there are already issues between some of the LI (mostly Emily lol) you want to add someone whose only redeeming characteristic is: "has vagane" and who is clearly a popularity/clout vampire? Like she doesnt have the "excuse" that Catherine does because unlike her MC never showed any care about Melina.

Well, xianxia novel is the most critical area that suit what I was talking about, every male characters in the story if not mc's friend(or even some are friend of the mc) will be tricked, being cuckold and took down by the mc. All beautiful female characters in the story will be either in mc's harem, being his fwb, or got fucked by him once. If the non-adult novel website not banned incest openly even mc's family members like sis or mom will be taken by him(which has another special meme term called "kfc family bucket" for having a family's all female family members in a harem).
Despite these winner take all and fuck all plot become more and more toxic as this plot repeat over and over, still lots of reader like to read this kind of story, and in the game aspect is similar to the novel aspect.

Because they are tired of the cycle, but the main stream is still the previous one.
Another point for less romance and tricky brain storm combat is because these are depent on the writer's knowledge, instead of writing some kindergarden grade romance and shitty intelligence battle they rather describe less about these plot.
