This idea can solve your problem of telling the story of the girls in original timeline, it also can let mc know more about the "future", which in his view is impossible to know, and use that informations to prevent bad things happen.
Hope my idea can inspire you to more greater ideas!

That is certainly how I read it and him having the fetish the "whole time" makes more sense imo, but baibai makes it seem like that might not have been the case (imo).

Since it's a harem game, it's pretty much to be expected that she is, at some point, going to be okay with the idea of the MC having multiple girlfriends; it's kind of a requirement of the trope, and I honestly hope it's more "she finds the idea hot" and a lot less "she felt forced into it so as not to be abandoned by the first person she's felt loved by" because the latter would be pretty shit.
