I feel like I more agree than disagree but the main problem I see with one update a year no matter how good quality it is which the quality in my opinion is pretty damn good is at the moment each update = one in game day it would take literally decades for the game to be finished or more likely abandoned. I kinda see this game at the moment like GTA6 the wait is making me less interested and worried I could write an essay but most will get the idea.
Well if you do write an essay please break it up into paragraphs for readability.

i think that's totally reasonable i don't know what would have to change to get updates out faster bring on more people lower the quality of the content too ease work load im in no position to say the one positive i can give is the dev does talk to the community when a game is in a bad spot in my experience the communication is the first to go i haven't seen that yet so im inclined to give the dev some leeway

I don't really get this concern with how long the game will take to finish. I don't play this game to see the ending, I already know how it will end. It's obvious.
It's a harem game, he's gonna end up with a harem, I'm not exactly at the edge of my seat here wondering what will happen in the end.
I play for the journey, to see the how and to see the scenes and the characters interacting.
Because it's fun and hurrying it along artificially, decreasing quality just to get to the ending faster would defeat the point imo. The quality is what I'm here for, not the ending.
Personally I would be fine with one year intervals between updates. I'm not in a rush, I just want this game to not be abandoned.
But I don't think that's what baibai wants. He said himself that he needs his regular affirmations and it's not hard to see why. Things get really hostile on here after a few months and no update, it's not hard to see how that would sap someone's motivation eventually when that hostile period gets longer and longer as the updates take longer.
So I think the best course of action would be to just cut the days in half or even in third. Get updates out faster, keep positivity high.
