What you want, is not a good update, but the entire remake of where he left off to be handed to you immediately.

The "issue" is that the prologue was divided in two(the hospital part is supposed to come out sometime next month) and a lot of the stuff he worked on during this last year was stuff that is supposed to be implemented later, like maps characters and other stuff like that. He did the same with the original game, when the first release dropped he already had a lot of stuff made for future releases, that is why the first 2 or 3 updates came out pretty fast.

i hope this is the case here i dont want to wait another 5 , 6 month for next updates

It's not his fault that you've been desperately sitting here waiting on the update instead of being a normal human being and continuing to live your own life.

1. When you subscribe to somebody on Patreon, you pay to support them so that they can work on their project because the project they're working on is something you enjoy or would like to see completed. You aren't paying this monthly fee just for game updates, you are paying so that the developer can continue to work on the game and make it the best it can be. The developer hasn't tricked you or misled you, he's still trying to make it the best it can be and finish the project.

2. It's not meant to be an argument, this isn't a debate. The decision has been made, the path has been chosen. It's not going to change, the developer is not going to go back to the old build. You now either choose to support him going forward or end your support here and move on with your life. The reason you're sticking around to complain is because you've become emotionally invested in something that had nothing to do with you to begin with.

Honestly I thought the story was going to continue from the end of the previous build but have the new art or whatever. An entire remake seems unnecessary to me.

Does snat hire writers? Because the writing is god awful. I don't know why people neglect writing so much. The way he introduced this prologue and it's dispersed elements feels completely unrefined. There are too many things going on, too many cheesy diatribes and one liners. And the main character has no defining features to make them interesting.

I just want to pull my hair out when I see developers devalue this step when it is the foundation for literally everything

Having played through this version, if I compare it to the previous version's prologue then this is better. That said, I really don't like the addition of stats. Why the fuck do I have to make the angel hate me to get intelligence so I can later have a superior option with a demon?

The stats just seem like they are going to lock scenes behind them and force players to replay the game again. It's fucking annoying, no I don't want to replay your fucking porn game just to see some leftover scrap of content. Just let me see everything like in the last version for fucks sake.

Both the 7.2 sanbox and 6.0 visual novel aren't being worked on anymore. The dev is remaking the whole game and the 1.0a version is the one being worked on from now on. Also you might want to wait a couple days because the public release will have a few extra scenes that aren't in the beta.

Patreon is what it is. Your motivations for subscribing to him are irrelevant, if you misinterpreted what Patreon subscriptions are then that is your own problem entirely.

My whole point is that you choose what you support or don't support just as the developer gets to choose what he does with his game. If you want to give feedback, then do that. If you're just going to mindlessly complain about what the developer has already chosen to do, then you're only wasting your own time. You all have this misconception that the people who are fine with this are mindless consumers when in reality we are fine with this and choose to keep supporting the developer with the understanding that we can move on whenever we want.

I think you really want this project to be good, otherwise you wouldn't still be here. So, say specifically what you don't like and how you think it can be improved going forward if you aren't satisfied with how it is right now. It's not that hard of a concept to grasp. You are only wasting your own time and making yourself more upset than you need to be.
