The exposition dump is long, that's factual, but the pacing of the events are rather excessive. There's just so much shit going on in the prologue, it can give a man whiplash.
We got heaven vs hell shenanigans.
Being revived into some dead guy diagnosed with a deadly disease.
A broken family home with a femboy dad added.
A possible coup de'tait and assassination attempt in game's major economic power.
Said assassination target in the EXACT SAME HOSPITAL as the MC.
Prisoners' escape plot.
That's not even including the personal character arcs of the main cast that now includes the Dad and Aunt, let alone side quests with the expected 150+ characters.
Really, it should have been spread out.
