"Real Actual Choices" are expensive, especially for porn games made by very small teams.

Realistically, most games end up converting choices to a +affection count for one character or another, and adding in special scenes for whichever character you focused the most on. Otherwise choice-heavy games would either be very short or take forever to develop.
