On his Patreon he's asking people to support his decision to give up this project and he's starting a new one with some of the same characters, but I don't know. This makes me think "what's stopping him from doing it again?" His renders are really good though. I guess we'll see.
There's nothing stopping him from doing it again. The creator seems to be someone who's never happy and easily frustrated with their work. So in all honesty the same thing is likely to happen again if things don't go the way he thinks they should.
With Two Weeks the creator was upset with the game being in multiple parts. Upset about the choices and how they didn't mean anything. He complained about the Mom and problems with her teeth (yes, her teeth). Didn't feel he was getting enough support on Patreon. Just to name a few things.
I'm pretty skeptical about the new game to be honest. It's supposedly going to be an "open world" game now, which I'm not a huge fan of. I'm more into more straight forward visual novel type games. It's also going to be another slow burn. So expect something like Two Weeks where it basically went an entire year with no real sexual content at all. It was only when the creator decided to abandon Two Weeks that there was finally some sexual content. One year with no sex in an adult game is a big pass for me, at least for donating.
I truly hope his next project goes well for him, but for me personally, I'd be highly cautious about donating anything significant if he goes back to monthly charges, at least for a while. The creator could never release updates on a consistent basis. Everything was always delayed and pushed back. It just wasn't a good thing.
My opinion was that the creator shouldn't even have released Chapter 6 of Two Weeks, but instead just taken time to fix the issues that he had with it. Or perhaps creating something new that's a little faster and more linear. This new game seems like he could find himself with a little too much on his plate, and easily overwhelmed. Two Weeks was a pretty simple game, and he didn't handle it too well.
But I will certainly start donating once I see semi consistent updates, and things with Jennifer really starting to pick up. Won't do anything before that though. I'm just not interested in helping finance a "slow burn" porn game if no sex is going to happen for close to a year.
