Alright sorry.

I'll explain my thinking a bit without sharing too much private detail.
F95 is the only place with that kind of thinking because it's pretty much the only place around with an actual RPGM tag and the bias that goes with it, most others place tag the game simply as 'VN', thus the bias doesn't exist. People try the game, play it like a VN, hate or like the game for its content. I got 0 feedback on the tech, it works, it's just a VN for them and all the feedback comes from either they like or not the story, scenes etc. Perfectly fine.
Now, on F95 50%+ of the feedback is towards the use of RPGM by people that never talk about the actual game, or about the actual content or anything remotely close to the actual work that is put into the game. They most likely either didn't like the game for what it is (which again won't change, would it be Ren'Py or RPGM, it will remain a VN and the same game), or just want to state their bias against RPGM in public, OR didn't play the game at all.
It becomes tiring in the long run and causes negative thinking in me and I'll most likely stop participating for this reason and focus on other places as it's simply not interesting.

Now, I have already a Ren'Py game in the making, due to the 'backers', which will be totally different. So, in the end, there will be a VN Ren'Py game and a VN RPGM game.
Ren'py is currently not a good fit for the workload of Tyrant Quest which uses my own application that allows to port text via SQL files over RPGM (which I'm quite proud of :)). Here some pictures of the application in attached files.
I may have been premature in my quips about RPGM being a possible issue. Well, in a way, it is still true that people that might otherwise try the game might pass up on it just because they see RPGM. However, I finally got around to playing the game, and its really wonderfully made. In the end, an engine is just an engine. We know from other games that any kind of game can be made in any engine. There are side scrollers in RPGM. there are isometric games. Anything is possible. Here, RPGM was utilized splendidly to create a nice VN platform. Its no different from Renpy other than missing rollback.

As for the VN itself. Its amazing work! I LOVE the writing here. You can tell right away that the writer is experienced in prose. It flows quite a bit like a fantasy novel or something. The art is amazing obviously. I only played the harem route so not too sure how the choices impact the outcome. I believe its more or less +/- scenes rather than truely unique routes with wildly different story paths. Not too sure though. That way of developing surely makes it more streamlined and easier to manage for the devs so its not a bad thing.

The only slight detractor for me were the writing during the sex scenes. It's probably due to personal preference, but I like it when the dialogues are extensive during the scenes rather than the descriptive text and internal thoughts being the majority of it. I prefer japanese VNs in that regard because they really have long ass conversations during the scenes. Much more than what would be natural or realistic. I just feel that the advantage of VNs over other porn is in its ability to create extremely erotic and depraved situations through dialogue during the sex scenes. This game takes a more realistic approach to sexual encounters. "Oh... fuck... more... harder please.." *Long descriptive text. "YESS~~ Fuck me!" To be fair, its not like that's a wrong way to do it. Its the writing style and some scenes are still quite hot like the one with the princess and Rin in the cell.

Congrats on creating a quality product.

People mainly hate RPGM cause they cant play it on android/other platforms plus there aint a simple shit+o console command so they could get a quick wank.

I can't remember if I posted my praise for this game already but If so, fuck it I'ma do it again.
I simply cannot wait until this is finished. This is so incredibly well written and thought out that it leaves you begging for more. I liked how you are pure evil but the choices aren't forced upon you.
Art style is right up my Diagon Alley
Would prefer some animations for the H-scenes but perverted pirate beggars can't be choosers I guess

I think this should get some form of award for having the most relatable bad guy protagonist.

The only other game I can think of that lets you play as the near-lovable "bad guy" is Ravager. That one about dragon rape/semi-consensual sex

The speed of progress being made on a game with good art is pretty much unprecedented. Everyone shut the fuck up about RPGM and witness a dev who actually develops. They have a workflow that functions effectively on RPGM, the VN mechanics are functional, the art and story are well-done. There's no legitimate basis for complaint here.
