I missed that one but you are right now that I went back and checked it.I don't think Penny is gone, Nyah clearly whispers something and Geneva suddenly stops raging at Aiden over her death? Yeah...
No, Bianca didn't say that at all. That Bianca scene, is a meta moment joke.Except doesn't Bianca in u4ia state that Jaye and Mallory are actresses, which makes Chasing Sunsets fictional in u4ia's universe?
It's like saying the Marvel universe and the Xenomorph-verse are the same because Aliens is referenced in Infinity War.

Dad gets a new one …Wouldn't really work if you sank the yacht.![]()
is the VN mode going to be available for this whole Season 1 ? Because i just saw this post after saying that i won't continue this game but if VN mode makes everything easier and it's available to play in S1 , i might actually finish this season , i am done with the freeroaming of this game , i am done with focusing on all characters too its painful to do that in this game, if VN mode makes everything easier to do , i might actually come back and finish S1. I don't care if it makes S2 take more time because as the game is going right now i am not going to be back to the game anymore.View attachment 5241539
Dev Diary, Walkthrough, and some changes.
I hope you had fun playing the season finale. If you haven't yet, don't worry, I'm not going to put any spoilers here, but there are some important things to cover.
The release has been updated to v4.03p, crushing some minor bugs in the process, but if you played the release already, you're good. The most prominent bug-fix was fixing Sea's code ending in A-B, when it should have ended with B-A (I'll go hide in the corner now). Your saves are good either way.
Season 2 is patch only, so if you have some disk space available, keep your current version securely stored for when Episode 5 is out.
The download links have also been sent in a private message to all lower-tier long-term supporters. If you are a long-term supporter, but haven't received it, let me know.
It was a tough choice to end Season 1 like that, but it'll be worth it when we dive into Season 2, as I don't have to tiptoe around a lot of plot subjects anymore and can allow for you to connect more deeply with the girls.
It being made like that also serves another purpose, in that every episode doesn't have to grow exponentially bigger, and allows me to make episode 5 without having to break render record numbers, meaning the wait for the release will be shorter.
As an added bonus, the easter-egg is that you can now click "new game" and play Season 1 over again as a Groundhog Day experience, which kind of aligns with the story reveal.
It was a nice, relaxing release weekend since there were no game-breaking bugs like last time. I had planned to give Kingdom Come: Deliverance II a shot, but instead, I dove right into making the walkthrough DLC and have been making good progress on it. The Patreon version of the DLC will also be available on October 10th.
Free-roams and VN mode
I've been constantly trying to improve free-roam navigation by removing clutter screens that only work as transport stages and introducing shortcut navigation.
Seeing as some hate free-roams, but still want to enjoy the game, I've decided to implement a VN-mode, where you can play the game as a normal menu-choice Visual Novel.

Note that this is not a ten-minute job, as it will require a whole lot of testing of both VN-mode and re-testing Roam mode. It also adds to what needs to be done for the DLC, so it will inevitably delay me starting work on Season 2, but hopefully you'll agree that this is time well spent.
It's also important to note that free-roaming is meant for exploring, while VN mode is not. VN mode propels you through the most crucial dialogue bits and meeting people that are important for relationship building, but will not cover every single thing that can be explored in roam mode. So if you want to unlock every achievement and photo session (main menu gallery), you'll need to play roam mode at least once.
But unlocking all replay scenes will, of course, be possible in VN mode.
And that concludes the dev update for this week. There probably won't be one next Friday, as there isn't much to report from me making the walkthrough and VN mode, and I suspect it's a two-week job, minimum, to get everything finished.
Have a lovely weekend, and if you plan to play Season 1 during it, have fun doing so.
Stay safe out there.

Yeah, it was mentioned in the dev diary last Friday.Apparently, v4.03p released recently (yesterday, I think). Not sure if it's just bug fixes or whatever. My Season One download is v4.02p, so...

Oh damn.. I was restarting this game from the beginning and out of all girls at the dock i chose her as the first girl hahaThe one on the right, the first girl we meet after arriving at the island, virgin cute girl.

She worked for the MCs dad from the very beginning and was waiting there for the mc to arrive and to keep tabs on him for the mc's dad. Everything was staged.
She did not only betrayed MC like that but other people like her (supposed) friend Sea too. Sea's brain got reseted four times - whenever she tried to leave the island, she got put back in the plane to the island - and was always "greeted" by teagon who than became her "friend". Well at least she got a promotion out of it.
There will probably be some bullshit reason for it i imagine like the dad pressuring or blackmailing her in some way or whatever but i dont really give a fuck. Shes a pawn/henchman for mcs daddy.
She was one of the few people aware of whats happening and playing along, at this point i have more empathy for ana compared to teagan and teagan was my favorite lol.
