I would say do animations for your first full release and see how you feel about it, how long its taking you, if the results appeal to you, etc. THEN, let us beta versions with and without your animations and we'll give you better feedback.
Also, plan the sex/transition scenes without animations too so we can see where you're going.
Anyway, that's my cop-out opinion

So, I have come to a decision. I am going to make two versions of the game. One that is SFW, that's right, no porn. And one that is NSFW, either that or make the base game safe and then have a Lewd Patch. That way I can also share the safe version with my friends and family and my son can share it with his minor friends.
Also I will be starting with a "Basic" lewd game to begin with which will have no animation. At a later date, as my support grows and I can afford the second computer, I will release a lewd "Animation" patch which will add animations to the lewd scenes.
I hope everyone understands why I am making these choices.
Also, the Safe version will allow me to use Music licensing companies and have better music in the Safe version.

How having 2 versions of the game would go, for example, in the Safe version, at the end of the house walkthrough with the realtor, when she shows him the pool area and then asks him if he'd like to have some fun, and he says "What did you have in mind." she drops her dress to reveal that underneath is a swim suit and they jump in the pool and swim for a bit. In the lewd version, she has nothing under her dress and then gives him a blow job. Then later, with the animation patch, the blow job will also have animation.

I'm not trying to BS anyone. As long as I dont use the songs that are licensed under anti-porn clauses in the Lewd version when I put it out, there shouldn't be a problem... Right?

I THINK that as long as YOU don't leave any posts in the game thread acknowledging intent, or offering opportunity, you're probably okay.
Not that I know anything, I'm just guessing with all the AI search options available/being developed, you should probably even delete that post talking about it publicly in this thread, even though it won't be the official game thread.

I can understand that. I can't do it with A Paris Exhibition because the nudity and sex is central to the story, but I'm tempted to make an SFW version of Dirty Snowball so that my 13-year-old granddaughter can see a bit of what I'm doing. It's also a challenge too tell an engaging story without the explicit sex. I'll be sharing the full version with most of my friends and adult family members.
