Enjoying the game so far, but I have some issues. Like how the 1st run of a save will have an easier start than subsequent runs, simply, because there aren't really any ranged enemies right away.
As the game itself notes, ranged enemies are what stops people from reaching 100. While alive they keep doing shit tons of damage until killed. When revived they have no targeting priority, so they will attack anyone and everyone. Pulling a single AoE guy with 30 crappy normal zombies can break the run easily.
I would like this to be fixed as this is purely RNG and not up to the player. Either have ranged zombies prioritize parties that are already engaged (this should be simple, since you are already grouping enemy units who run on different behaviours). Or spacing out even more when the AoE dudes start spawning. Basically giving the player more time to stack up ranged units before they get those big bois thrown on them.
Additionally it's very easy to snowball right now. If one reaches 100 zombies then 300 is just a matter of time (you can't really fail once reaching 100). But personally I wouldn't worry about this part as this could change easily with more enemy variety later on.
I'm not sure what the final vision is for the game. Whether it's going to be a blob kind of game like now or if you want to make it more stategic. But regardless, I'd like a way to get units to better position themselves. For example even if it requires an upgrade I'd like ranged units to bunch up in the center of the blob and big dudes at the edge.
As for the H content, I hope it won't be just an afterthought even if that's not the focus. I believe that if something is a thing, then it should be made with respect rather than just having it to tick a checkbox. It should be either proper or not exist at all. But that might be just me. (I do not have a complaint about what is there so far, I just saw mentions that that's not the focus.)
Overall I'm looking forward to what's to come.
