It's layer 5, and there are two ways to get there. But you absolutely need either the recipe for fire resistance potions, "Recipe of Fire and Soot," or the Prayer skill (which you buy at the city's cathedral) to reduce lava damage.

• The first way is to go down to the area near the slave mine. (Roughly, once you enter, go all the way to the right.)
• The second way is to pay the carriage that takes you to some mines and go left to find a door. Open it and descend to layer 5. The easiest way

How do i enter the City Of Exiles now? and how do i progress Otto's events? he's not at the church anymore and i just told a slave i met in the 3rd layer to come to him

I believe Otto no longer appear in church if you unlock 3rd layer.

The slave you met in 3rd layer, with the choice you make, RIP.
BUT, there's trail of blood at the entrance of hidden forest, you'll reach the Exiled when you follow it.

If you told the slave to head for the church in the surface, the slave will give you memo on how to enter the Exiled.

After entering Exiled, speak to Otto twice, either with 'Speech' or 'Beauty'.
The 1st interaction will give you token of the Exiled, you will be able to use facility on Exiled city, and can use the wagon in red light district to travel directly to Exiled city.
The 2nd interaction, he will give you quest. (up to you how to proceed)

If I remember correctly, it's in the village on layer 2. You have to access Shrine Maiden Amanda's basement. You can do this either by defeating her or by burning down the house in the bottom right corner. To do the latter, you have to give the pig the suspicious meat, and it will give you a key item. Use that item to burn down the house, and then spend time sleeping there. Afterward, you can access Amanda's basement, where her key is. This key is used to open the tree house in Shrine Maiden Village at the end of the game.

Ty, this game is honestly very confusing to progress. How do i enter the City Of Exiles now? and how do i progress Otto's events? he's not at the church anymore and i just told a slave i met in the 3rd layer to come to him

To get to City of Exiles from the entrance of Sea of Trees you go North, South, West, West, West. Or if you get lost as long the West direction have a small paved stone path you're already near the City. To progress Otto's event requires two days, one when you met him in his church in the City of Exiles and acquire the token needed to interact to the people in there then the next one is a task to save a slave in the Slave Tower/Mines. If you give her Otto's Potion she will die but if you give her a true invisibility potion she will live and you will acquire the chance to capture Otto to prevent the brainwash event from him.
IMO make a save after saving the slave.

There's no recipe for Blasting Bomb and there's only two in a single playthrough. The walls that can be blasted are just different entry point for 2nd Layer.

actually, there is two other walls to blast in the first floor to get optional gear.

I was messing around with no-clip in the city and found this fella in the Dance Club. Upon speaking with him he has seemingly scenes, but when you move forward with the conversation the game errors due to missing Map0145.json
Sure enough I checked and it is missing. Not sure it was ever there.

What ya'll think?

Does anyone know how to save Hilda? I'm doing her quests, and when you talk to her in Shrine Maiden Village, it seems like you have to give her something. Also, how do you unlock her closet?
I want to mention that I already have Pure Seeds and the Fragrant Amaryllis. But I don't have the recipe to create a bottle containing her memories. Supposedly, you need a recipe to unlock Hilda's memories and be able to enter the door to Layer 5.

Does anyone know how to save Hilda? I'm doing her quests, and when you talk to her in Shrine Maiden Village, it seems like you have to give her something. Also, how do you unlock her closet?

If you want to save her you have to reload to before you entered Shrine Maiden Village, because it looks like you failed or didn't complete her quest.

I guess I did something wrong, but I have a save file from before entering the sanctuary and I don't even see Hilda.
It should be noted that she already gave me the note where she will visit Shirine Maiden's grave in layer 3
