For sure! I play games without needing to self insert a lot too, but the ones I end up enjoying the most that stick with me are the self insert ones. Persona 5 is my favorite all time game, along with the Witcher 3. I tend to enjoy rpg games, and the more customization I can do the better to self insert. Idk it's just always been a thing for me. Ever since I was a kid the things that made me enjoy games the most were always relatability, dialogue and world building. Even as a kid I would think of the video game characters as my friends and emphasize with their situations. Also another kink of mine is character development and growth. Luckily this is quite common for video games to have, but the ones where you feel yourself going from 0 to hero in a good way I can't get enough of.
Funny you should mention Another chance, as that is exactly the game I'm playing through right now and it's pretty much perfect for me. The art-style, writing, setting are right up my alley but what really makes it special for me is the insanely relatable MC. While he might be in a slightly worse starting point I found it borderline creepy how similar my life situation rn is to the mc's starting point + since I was like 14 all I've ever daydreamed about has been the ability to go back in time to fix my situations or have time to do things in a way that I like. SO this is honestly becoming my favorite porn game of all time at this rate. It's not perfect but damn it hits close to home. If you know or find any similar games to this please inform me asap.

Common issue with Ren'Py games: it turns every "game" into a picture book with dozens of pitures that wer gotta look through hundreds of timw, without ever feeling like a participant in it.
The idea behind the game looks good. Just hope that the dev ever removes the endless grind, like having to click the same sequence every day for going to school, or turns to an engine that turns this non-living picture book into an actual game.

That's caused from a code change we did a while back. Make sure to delete your persistent data on the main menu or manually delete the folder in appdata/roaming/renpy/Uni2.

I was sad to find out my favorite routes and the ones I went for first (bakery, Mackenzie, cheerleading team) were the least developed ones. I love it when you have a female friend corrupting her friend and watching them transition from an innocent maiden to a slut. If I had one complaint, it's that the transition from Chelsea's innocence to a slut felt kind of abrupt despite all the build up. It just kind of feels like she's slowly being corrupted but doesn't offer any resistance and accepts it? I was surprised to see how soon she accepted that she was a slut after getting raped by Matt and friend just one time. Great game nevertheless, didn't expect to like it as much as I did.

Been a while since I played, reading through the the changelogs it seems there's more routes and character route-conflicts added. Any chance the NTR is your bf cheating on you (like Matt domming Violet) or is it still just the PC cheating? Asking since there's not many games with a cheating/harem building bf that's straight.
is there a way to escape matts blackmail? or are you just forced to play along when it starts no matter what?
Slap him at the very start, or alternatively you can make very good friends at a karaoke bar (this is the most satisfying option). Later on there are several more options if you trigger other routes and on Matt's route as well.
There are several ways out of the blackmail stuff. Karaoke, conflict events, or even Nathan.
