it's only in chinese, traditional chinese at that, and somehow the language option has nothing

The text is intersparsed with japanese at times

it's a mess, wait for an original japanese version or an english version

Biggest issue is game balance and progression. The only meaningful progression are getting new weapons and passive, and getting the evolving gene for your cell gear upgrade. Both are exceedingly difficult at the start of the game because you need both to get through the 20 mins part for any meaningful progress, therefore giving you a catch-22 problem (you need weapons and stuff for better survival; better survival requires good weapons and stuff). Evolving gene drop is abysmal as well.

The game will be infinitely better if 1) killing enemies and the blue orb collected also contribute to some evolving genes, maybe 5-10%; 2) unlock cell gear and arsenal at the beginning, instead of locking behind the pink hair girl; 3) more background story, more world building; 4) more H-scenes

Or if it just did the Vampire Survivors thing where the power-up slots that the boss enemies drop also give currency

hm universe treasure dlc is out.. just avatar skin and 2 dlc weapons?
Also, there is a v2.5 main game patch?

Frederica being THE most busted character in the group and the one you want to use the most to farm because she's the only one that gets a bonus to Gene Point earnings is not ok in my opinion. You'd think Yotsuha and Hilde would at least stand out, the former with her high Growth Rate and the latter with her high damage and crit...

But all of that still comes down to farming GP, and Frederica does that the best, and her Talents make it the least painful because Gatling is the most OP weapon evah.

Wait, really? I never find Frederica really that good unless for farming GP. She, Elfriede & Hilde all suffer from RNG during early levels. You either get necessary upgrades on level up or bail out. Only Yotsuha can afford to waste a few early bad RNG level up.
I also never find Gatling that great. It's pre-evolved form, machine gun funnel, back during 1.4 where only 3 options per level up were available, was one of the worst one. Even after buff in current version it's still meh. If we're talking about OP, non-evolved Shock Pulse is way more OP and even the developer seems to acknowledge that.

I'm surprised no one seems to mention Shock Pulse, it's pretty decent too, OP even. It gets decent at around level 4-5 and at level 8-9 it's basically an evolved weapon without evolving. Hit hard and leave you plenty of space to wiggle.

Surprisingly not laggy compared to Vampire survivors or Holo cure. Still playing it even after I unlocked the CGs. (Nevermind It's laggy. Almost reached lvl 300 lol)

Oh dang, I found the game. Is it MTL or completely translated? There's a DLC? I know they still add content to this game but damn.
