How is he "milking" them? Anyone dissatisfied with the frequency or size of project's updates is free to cease their support at any time. That information is made publicly available, for free, even to non-subscribers. If someone still has supporters, they either have reasons of their own of which you are unaware or too negligent to bother keeping track.

I'm not sure what about it you think could serve to mislead a grown person. In general, if large numbers of strangers are doing something and you don't understand why, it's considered more reasonable to assume ignorance on your part than brain damage on theirs. Due to Occam's razor and not multiplying causes beyond necessity and such.

Or are you under the impression that the rest of humanity lacks your own astounding intellectual capacity to add two and two together?

It's actually 18 months to get the abandoned tag, not 12.
Probably because there would be quite some big games also getting an abandoned tag would it be "only" one year...

It is hard to argue with how long the game has existed and the short amount of content...as well as the utter lack of lewd content in certain cases (cough), I personally don't think they're scamming people...but that's just my opinion.

Ok i believe its a very good VN , i enjoyed it a lot
Visuals are amazing and although story is quite basic and simple (college guy found himself surrounded by beautiful LIs) but thats not a bad thing.
Mc is quite good and
The Lis are ALL beautiful and each one has her own unique personality (strongest point of the VN are the LIs actually)
Though i liked Maeve most (my n1 LI),
Olivia and Angel tied to second place
and third and last Shannon (albeit she is well made and unique character for sure but i wouldn't choose her as LI other Maeve or Angel)
Im gonna bookmark it and keep an eye for next update.

Alright, fair enough. Also, five years is actually a perfectly normal amount to time for a novel to take, now I think about it.

IMHO, 4-5 years is normal amount of time to complete a game and make a claim the project has been successfully brought to completion.
