Question.. I don't remember if I ever played this before, but when you release the new version that breaks all the old games, do you still expect people to wade through the 305+ pages of this forum for info that should be in the game?
I like the concept of having to look in different places for clues, even outside games (on a web site or something), but trawling through 300+ pages trying to find info, as written would be needed in the intro page, is a bit much to ask for.
You will search the internet, but you won't search a thread? gtfo. If I have to leave your game, I'm LEAVING your game. Its not the 1980s, there's no reason for a game not to include all relevant information. This isn't a sandbox and even in sandbox games, that bs completely destroys any sense of immersion.
This guys discord is such a dickride im surprised it isnt an actual dildo.
That's pretty much every Discord and Patreon. That's the atmosphere they CREATE. That's what mods believe their sole purpose in life is, saving the person from any criticism. Which is why you consistently see creators of all types fail to grow. They might jump to something more popular, but they never grow as creators because they fail to address their weaknesses. They just need to get a job in Hollywood, so that failure is a legitimate way to advance your career once you've hit your peak.
With the really important part in bold, underlined... actually no I'm not an angry forum kid I just quoted it. Misleading information on F95zone isn't key to the game. There's plenty of it in the game itself to get you by without having to wade through stupid angry F95zone.
Bruh... where to begin. I like what you've created, but its not perfect and you need to nut the fuck up and accept that. Yeah, some people do take shit too far, but even in those cases I see valid criticism driving those emotional responses. People might single out one person on the team for criticism over delays when its very clearly all parties are to blame, but never ending delays ARE a fucking problem.
I'm fine with the visuals of your game. There are a handful of games that look REALLY good, but this game still looks as good as most. I'm fine with your next update breaking saves - it's not BaD where I'm forced to play a dozen long ass mini games even after turning mini games off, or where I have to talk to specific people in specific orders to advance shit and basically forcing mini games on me despite turning them off.
I think you've taken 4 interesting female archetypes, made something that's fairly interesting, but there is no excuse for where this game is after 6yrs. You're averaging an update per year, and updates that are being dwarfed by devs pumping out monthly updates. No one wants remasters, period. A lot of people agree that some of DPC's characters consistently look worse every update, so if your next update looks a lot better than the last? That's great! The fact that there are a ton of VN's which were starting last Nov when I found this site that now have 3-4 times the amount of content yours has, that's on you. And not all of them are AI, a lot of them aren't. And if you use AI for post-processing, no one is going to care. Some care about AI renders, but even then, the vast majority don't care.
Content is king and that's the biggest criticism you deserve - your game is utterly lacking in terms of content. You need to find a way to address that. If you want to update old renders alongside releasing new content? Great. That's what most smart devs have taken to doing. So grow some thicker skin, admit that you are quite literally the only one to blame for the state of YOUR game, and learn and grow from that. You can be successful in this space, you're just holding yourself back.
