He didnt make a bad project thats the point. Urban Demons was very popular and he knew that so he was milking it to an insane degree. The other slight was that when he was finally FORCED to "finish" the game he just threw together some BS and called it a day, the final product is a rushed and buggy mess that required fans to complete in order to get it to a stable place.

Now I wouldn't say that. The two prominent mods that are still alive and being updated do not use the final version of urban demons as their base and their story is very different from one another. I do not know the history behind the game like you do because I got to play it when it was almost done, but I do remember it being awhile before it got the last updates, then finished, and then after there were bugs, a final patch came out to address most of them.
Yes I really like this series, so i might see the series through rose tinted glasses, but the game was finished. I think that because of how much influence this game still has Nergal decided to try to do the game some justice. The way the original game was rushed at the end a bit and then maybe any unresolved feelings he has twords the game will probably motivate him to make a great remake. You said it yourself, in a way, that this game is his biggest problem child from his past. So let him cook, and move past it.

I will still pirate and play the game but as far as financial support, nah, I only give porn game devs 1 shot to stay in my good graces. I am all for big tits/ass/incest so I guess all that is left to do is watch the thread and wait. I got nothing to lose this time around.

Damn this was my favourite game during the pandemic, that's some good news to read it's getting a remake.

That mini game was unnecessarily hard. Took way too long to see the scene and for me to realise that you had to protect the top of her head and not the bar.

as I was a person that did the purity routes, having corruption only is disappointing. especially if u did the corruption route for the single mother in the park (can't remember her name) you're such an awful person to her kid that it was kind of upsetting. also, getting rid of kayle is ok for me since i wasn't a fan, but dizzy was the frigen best

now the minigames. guys you HAVE to use a mouse, it makes it a lot easier. I can 100% understand why people have had such a hard time without it. even with a mouse it wasn't exactly easy. definitely needs a few more hearts to appear more often

I really enjoyed UD and despite the hiccups it had a amazing premise and sexy ladies. Part of me wanted a jrpg esque combat where you can pull the ladies you corrupted into the dream world and do turn based combat with you and do lewd things to them for power ups and maybe even give them their own class. I am also for giving them lewder outfits to wear in public the more you corrupt them.

Some would have to be tweaked like the teacher at school but those were some ideas I considered would be cool if I ever decided to create a game similarly.

I never made it to the endings so this would be a good time to try to view them since this is on the horizon.

Yeah that'd be super good. The mom and sister start wearing little to nothing (this can be changed if you prefer more clothing is sexier to you or less and whatever in between) at home. Though I guess the sister could probably be given a slightly and I mean slightly more conservative outfit for it to have more effect because she pretty much is easy access by default.

There's the MCs older sister and her friend dizzy (who I hope doesn't get scrapped). And the original game had 2 milfs with younger daughters who "might" be legal age with this games new timeline (unless nergal decides to have loli's)
