Hey everyone! So I'm playing the final version, and I'm having a bit of a problem. I'm loading up that final save that deposits you in the blackroom and going over the scenes, but I couldn't help but notice that every single scene starts from the premise that this isn't the first time. For example, if you go to Pegah and click her first option, the 'Undertable BJ' scene, her opening line is 'I can't believe we're doing this again'. In old versions you were able to progress even in the memory gallery scenes, so that the first time you clicked an option it gave you the dialogue of the first time, then the second time it was the second time dialogue, and so on. Honestly my favorite part of this game is the progression of the dirty talk and debauchery, which I've always thought was absolutely masterful, so I was wondering if there was any way around this...? In any case, love the mod and thanks again to Chilly Scholar for all his amazing work!

What are you talking about? The only way for a scene to even appear in the memory room is for it to have already been seen in-game outside of viewing it in the Test Room. If you meant to say the Test Room then it still wouldn't work exactly like that either. If you haven't seen the scene when you view it in the Test Room then it would act like it was the first time you seen it and when you view it again it would either behave like how it does in the Memory Room or the game will crash because you're trying to view a scene for a character you haven't met. There was no version of the mod that let you view whichever version of the dialogue you wanted, it has always been tied to the amount of hearts you have with each character. The full save has near full hearts with each character so the dialogue will reflect as such. The only way to change the dialogue to a previous version would be by going to the Test Room and changing the amount of hearts you have for each girl there and then viewing the scene again. Perhaps you are thinking of something that the official release may have implemented after 0.8.2. because otherwise your "problem" is non-existent.

I'm sorry, I didn't know that's how it worked. I checked it in both the dark room and the test room, though it's true I'm using the final save. Can I ask how can I change the amount of hearts I have for each girl in the test room? I'm using Pegah as the test case, I've changed her Rep and Cor to 0 using the body double they have at the bottom of the test screen and hit reset on all the sex stats, but she's still giving me dialogue like we've done everything before when I go to her body on the top right to check the scenes. Sorry to bother you and thank you so much for the quick reply.

I just checked it out, and it seems 'reset all' is how you reset hearts and such, right? It seems to work! Actually, what was throwing me off is that no matter how you reset Pegah, her first option (undertable BJ) always starts with "I'm doing this again..." There seems to be no way to get the first ever version, at least with that.

Because what's happening is that since you've already seen the scene once, the scripting is saying that it skips the initial dialogue. So basically the script says "has this happened before?" if yes then it automatically goes to the heart levels, if no then it plays the initial one. How the official works is by applying different .txt files for each one while Chilly's being the previous version is all in one file and chooses the dialogue based on scripting. What I'm saying is it will always assume you've done it before and there is no way to get back to that point no matter how much you reset. My solution is start a fresh file and warp to the test room and save. There you can play the initial scenes once until you reload that save file. Just don't watch the next one immediately cuz then it'll crash. Add some Cor\Rep then try for the next one.

Interesting, thanks for the tip! I'll start a new game then for the virgin runs and use the other file for the other ones. I've gotta say now that that's sorted out and I understand what's going on, it feels pretty amazing to finally be able to play the completed version. The Chilly Scholar Mod of Urban Demons is by far my favorite porn game and has been for a couple of years now. It's such a masterpiece.

There no true fix for full screen, you have to change display settings to get it to fit somewhat on screen. Don't try it to play it in full screen play it in window.
Do you mean doing that in-game in the options or using some other kind of application? I thought there was someone that figured out how to fix the fullscreen so all of the screen was visible while being as large as possible

It was like "make it small then make it the largest it can." I tried it and it never worked. Not saying they're wrong, just saying I am unsuccessful in their methods. I have no proof, but I think because of the scripting either it has one that contradicts full screen thus making the pausing effect when you try, or it was removed for some reason or another in the official "engine" of the original game. Sorry, but unless someone can solve this there will never be a full screen option. Plus the movie files (idk if Chilly added them, I'm gonna be honest I've never actually played the mod XD) already have a problem with the resolution so I think full screen might make them look even worse.

They're in the movie folder but I have no idea how to actually make them play in game, copying the line of coding from the official release didn't work so my guess is that there is some kind of custom scripting at work.

It works when I play it on the mod. There's an option called "Play Movie" in Ace on the third page. "Bridgette" might not work because its an mp4 file while the others are ogv files. I'll take a look later.

Edit: Verified, Bridgette didn't work as an mp4 file, but when converted it plays. Only problem is its not optimized like the other movie files. I'm guessing whoever made it used a smaller canvas than the ones used in the official ones because it plays at like half screen (assuming yours is at the max resolution) and doesn't black out the screen so its just an overlay on the parallaxes.

I usually change my monitor display settings from 1440 down to 1080 it fit okay in the window mood
Edit: soorry it doesn't really fit but for me the monitor I use large enough that I don't really notice after a minute or two

Would love to see more scenes of Neala, Mom and Dizzy getting it on with people other than the MC. Maybe fred or someone else can get lucky too?
