Thanks. Just one clarification. I did Domia warrior path but i chose to confess the truth instead of drugging moneylender. Does that effect the outcome?
In real life, being honest is not always the best way for material gains... you'll have to choose between Alam and Domia, Fahda will not be happy to see them both leave her. However, confessing will allow you to revisit Fahda later...

I like this game so far. the switch between normal and vn is a life saver and having that chicken button for when you fight is very good I don't like alot of grind in my games so I play in vn and use the chicken when it is a fight. my over all on this game is damn good so far needs more content more girls to fuck but story is good maybe have more places to take over or maybe side stories in each place you take over. and maybe make it to where you can explore the areas in and around the places you take over. adding more things like make the rich girl a mayor or something. that one thing was very good but after that is it no more town stuff. except the invasion stuff.

which is the main nature and focus of the game... remember the VN mode is to take away the element of gameplay and management.
what you seek seem to be a Sandbox VN in tis universe rather than a world conquest

Just starting, Story intrigues me. The combat not so much. Is there a mod out there or something that allows us to skip that? Didn't enjoy playing Rock, Paper, Scissors guessing. Beyond that, story itself seems to have potential. Unless there option to do that later, I've yet to get there. I just escaped the prison.

Yes you could just use the chicken button and win the fight immediately

Or see the appendix to the walkthrough to help predict your opponent's moves.

I wanted to write a summary for previous updates as well but was too embarrassed to seem vain. Well, now I really want to write one so I’m finally going to do it. Feel free to ignore this wall of text. Sorry, no tits here.

The original concept in my mind for Hawatia was “Nazi Wakanda”. Not Nazi in the geocide sense, but a high tech nation of dark skinned people who regarded themselves superior to all others. When I was young I watched with John Travolta set in a world where the social and economic positions of Black people and White people are reversed and I guess some of the echoes lingered. When I saw in the Daz store everything clicked. I knew who the Hawatians were.

I didn’t want to bring the noise from our world to Hawatia. I never use the terms “black people” or “white people”, I just wanted something different, not another Tolkien or Martin clone. This is (porn) fantasy, we can do whatever we like as long as it has a wet cunt and some big ‘ol titties.

Some stuff I didn’t love about this update:
  • In the Red Arena you only fight women, but there’s no story justification for that. I considered adding some “fluff fights” with men, maybe just a text and an image of you standing over a defeated dude. Maybe I’ll add it in the future.
  • Never managed to get any “something to do” for Taamul the butler, the one hiding in the forest. For Yuki it was her daughter, for Abustan the farmer it was the boars (or a punch in the nose) but for Taamul… nothing.
  • Not exactly related to “things I didn’t like”, but my Discord gang has been pushing me to try Desert Stalker and I promised them I’ll do it after the release. Good thing I waited because I saw I have used some 3D assets used in Desert Stalker. Now I feel how some girls feel showing up to a party and seeing another girl wearing the same dress. Awkward. Desert Stalker kicks ass, by the way. Give it a try.

But thankfully, there’s more I did like about this update:
  • Using the term “salmon” (and “Fish”) as a derogatory term for “pink people”.
  • How the Red Arena fit into the Hawatian supremacy point of view. Only non-Hawatians fight in the arena, to remind the cultured folk how barbarians act.
  • I’ll elaborate on this in a future post, but I like how you have the option, when Abustan the farmer asks you to kill the boars, to just punch him in his stupid face. In so many games you play a wimpy loser, I want Vae Victis - Khan to be a game where you can feel powerful and from time to time, just get something you want by punching someone, with no sophistication or conditions. Just tell me what I need to know or I’ll fucking kill you thank you very much.
  • Did you notice Abustan’s dog once you start punching him? The pig, on the other hand, doesn’t give a shit.
  • This quest was the first one where you actually get to see the ruling Wench. I should do this more.
  • Much more music, and it’s original too. I hired a composer for this update, it was a lot of fun throwing ideas back and forth. Now the other quests feel empty, too quiet, but don’t worry, by the time 0.5 rolls out I’m going to fill all the previous quests with original music too.
  • Fucking Zuri next to her father, that was nasty, especially in the Seduction flow. And Lady Zuma’s seduction flow was also nasty. In way, some seduction flows are harsher than the rapes.
  • I liked Gleeful the she-orc. Her name is a nod to Joe Abercrombie’s characters and I loved how in the middle of the sex she sort of turns the tables on Karder.
  • It was a good update for orcs in general. From Gleeful the arena fighter, Horn the slaver who hates messy books and the Balint and Valk guards who act as witnesses to Zuri’s redemption. My orcs are not stupid chunks of meat, but people.
  • No one got the “Balint and Valk” reference? Anyone? Anyone?

Thanks for playing (more so if you actually !), and thanks for reading this. The poll will close in 18 hours and so far it seems that 74% of my backers wish version 0.5 to focus on existing characters exclusively, so expect to see more of your favorite characters around April, I'm already bursting with ideas. Good night!

Playing through the whole game from the top, and the past few updates for the first time, some things I liked:
  • Most of the game, really. The stuff I liked the first time I tried it still works. There's a nice variety in character models and personalities that's appreciated.
  • The quest steps and options for the two territories I hadn't played before were nicely done.
  • As you say, Zuri's scene in front of her father was fun. All in all, both the seduction and rape paths are often pretty cruel and entertaining.

Some things I wasn't keen on:
  • The reverse racism fantasy ("Nazi Wakanda", as you describe it) doesn't really do anything for me. It didn't veer into full-on racist conspiracy nonsense, but some of it made me cringe a bit.
  • Playing through the game it struck me that several of the characters were described as 'child-like', and with the addition of Yuki's daughter the game seems to be plotting a course towards nonce territory, which is where I'll disembark.
  • On the campaign map, it's not very clear that the max number of troops includes any troops garrisoned in the territories. Of course it may have been mentioned in a tutorial I skimmed through at some point, but I sat skipping turns staring at "0/110 troops" for a while wondering why the number didn't go up before the penny dropped.

Spotted one line where the MC is referred to as "Karder" instead of povname and one that looked like it shouldn't be visible to the player:
screenshot0001.png screenshot0002.png

Edit: Also, the follow-up scene with What's-her-tits seems to assume the MC took a loan from her. There was no mention made of the fact that the last time they met, the MC drugged and robbed her.

Vae Victis - Conquer, Ravish, Breed [v0.3.16] [Doorknob22]

• Gallery Unlocker Mod

Download

Features:
- All Gallery Scene Unlocked

Installation:
- Extract Mod Zop
- copy "gallery_unlocker.rpy" and
- paste in game folder
I don't know if anyone else had this problem but when I install the mod it deletes all the scenes for Hawatia in the gallery.

I really, really enjoyed the daddy kink content with Alam. Hope we get to see that more often with the other girls, it was pretty well done.

Also, great job on the walkthrough man! It made everything clear and made it a little easier for people who are more interested in a VN-layout to enjoy the game. I hope the art gets better with time... there's a lot of potential here!

i dont really see it as "reverse racism" because to me it makes no sense. (quoting the other guy not the dev)

But basically

Racism= treat people bad because of their skin color.
Reverse Rascism: treat people good becase of their skin color.

that aside the "Nazi Wakanda" concept was interesting. most of the time i wonder if the Dom routes are too harsh. but in a place full of racists it makes the choice easier to be a dick:ROFLMAO:

and i cant deny most of the characters were hot. Yuki was so and so and Gleeful was intersting but everyone else were pretty good. especially Zuri.

punching the farmer was a definite surprise. i honestly didnt think you could get results so easily in a VN game cause most of the time they lead to a game over.

but yeah great update.(y)
