At the beginning when you have to go out of the house and take a subway I went to swing, and then talked to dog right of subway. After that the UI froze or got to some corrupt state and randomly pressing buttons (w got me out of it) i could move again. But then talking to all NPC's was buggy and froze the UI until game restart.
