My friend had made a twitter thread covering this game and I think he nailed the main issue pretty well. None of the "characters" are actually characters. As in their 1 or 2 stupid "personality traits" are literally all they are and nothing more. If you're going to force me into a VN dating sim, you need more than "I'm such a gamer," "Fuck white people, amiright," and "I'm so much smarter than everyone else" to get invested in a character. Its not even that hard to make assholes a bit more interesting, you just have to make them literally anything more than just an asshole.

Oof, I think I hit another bottom. May be visiting imageboards too much or just being degenerate in general awoken this kink in me.
So guys, if anyone knows another /pol-tier game - pls share with me. I think even better in private messages because I'm not willing to trigger anyone. And this new compilation won't be posted for the same reason.
But hey, mods, I think for those who has a strong sarcastic mind some "/pol" tag would be a nice thing. And its visibility should be disabled by default with option to enable only after the age of 30 35 40 or more is confirmed.

'It's a shitpost' is always a possibility, but damn if it is it's a dedicated one. Making an entire game, even a shit one, is a huge amount of effort, plus running the entire social media campaign around it? And has the mask slipped at all?

You're right. Also, devs that make games about lesbian incest with toilet play or sex with unicorns in front of a church, and people that play that kind of games doesn't think that's a valid or even possible behavior. The message of that kind of games is not "if you want to have a threesome with your mother and your dog, disguised as an orc, go ahead. Social prejudices should not stop you. It's just the way you are and society should accept you, so go out of that closed". It´s just a fantasy and nobody expects or wants that kind of things come true.
But it seems that the dev of this game is making some kind of "activism" with it. It seems that is trying to promote the social acceptance of that kind of ridiculous characters and behaviors, and the accpetance of the own prejudices of the dev, and that's the origin of the almost universal rejection and cringe.

There is no content of sexual nature or anything to masturbate to. It's just a quite bad dating sim if you don't take all the controversy into account. Maybe some paths are better than others, but the ones I played are quite dull.

Played the demo because I wanted to see how sh*tty it was.

I regret it, played all routes. The theatre girl route made me feel she was getting used by the love interest. The socialising just was cringe like, make up your mind. One moment they insult each other (gay route(?)) and next moment they seem to want to be friends. Well the worse route for me from this game though was the non-binary one, I wanted to smash my laptop,beat the crap out of the love interest because
