I can't seem to find the male figure, it only have female but in the guide video on hub i can see he have a male option below female too, is male not yet been added in this beta?
Edit: NVM just saw the trello and male will be added in 1.1

Well, I've already wrote that VAM2 is focused entirely on graphics and addons. Instead it should be focused on "framework" that allows to build separated scenes within single scene - like segments in timeline. This should preload all required elements to avoid loading times during game (maybe configurable for segment), allow to build different paths between segments with ability to pass same variables between segments. Breathing system connected with muscles and chest, together with gagging and speaking. Muscle system - movement should be distinguished for forced on person and done by person, different muscles activation. Human movement system - without impossible variations and with presentation of person's "comfort" to speed up posing - now most scenes contains poses that are doable but not comfortable. Body deformation system where body changes during forces or pressure. Touch system where hand automatically recognise surface and modify hand automatically. Human behaviour system. And after that textures...
Creatores could be focused on content, not on basic functionality.
I think i'm describing different game ;)

Honestly speaking, what i want is just better FPS overall because VaM1 fucking sucks ass. I can't do anything, not even using two characters that the thing already lags so much but I guess using a really old and unoptimized build of Unity, does this. So I'm just hoping for this to be fair but I'm not sure anymore if that's the goal because I don't want to spend more money for upgrading my pc just for a fucking sandbox sex game.

the funny thing is that there is a VAM1 upgraded to newer Unity floating around but authors don't share it because of legal worries and support headaches I imagine. I've seen them talk about it a few times, even on official vam discord. I think it's basically vam3 lol. It's vam1 in terms of content, UI, mods, but with better graphics and performance.

Yeah, me too I would've liked if they'd keep the core as it is, even the entire UI, and just upgrade performance and graphics. Those celebrating this mad UI are snorting copium if you ask me.

What specs you got?
I began with a R5 3600, 16gb ram and a gtx 1070 and it ran pretty fine even with soft body physics AND VR.
Without var browser and other tweaks I would agree that it's a unstable mess.

I found that hair is really demanding on FPS, with only one person some hair drop the fps from 100 to 50.

Got a bottleneck for sure since I run a I5 4670K with a RTX 3060 (and 32gb of RAM) but I can run other games AAA no problem. Not at 120 for sure, but 60 definitely. VaM I can't even keep 60 that goes down to 20 and it's literally unplayable.

Probably that's why I see most of the scenes with really bad hair, because of the performances problems this build gives and many chooses to lower the hair quality over performance, which is why sucks ass overall to look at.

I'm on a ryzen 5700x and 3070 and even that delivers 30 fps max in most scene with 2 persons

You should be able to run vam without soft body physics fine at 1080p or even 1440p with lowered res-scale.
You could use the naturalis plugin for females for breast and rear "physics".
Its also working without soft body physics. It looks really realistic but collision is, well without soft body physics.
Not sure if the shake it plugin also works without soft body physics but it should. To get realistic muscle movements.
I haven't noticed any performance drops. Naturalis even gets me better fps because you can disable rear soft body physics and just use vulva and tiddy physics or vise-versa. Maybe this helps or you already know all of this stuff :p

If Vam1
You could almost double your FPS if you use process lasso and or the cpu fix from the hub and if you are using VR, the openvr fsr mod.
Tone down hair physics (both top sliders to 16) for all hair assets (remove male hair) and set each hair asset's shader type to "fast".
Virtual sweetheart, one of the largest scenes I've ever tested was running at 18-20fps before in VR and with all of this 35-40fps.
Even more when you only use one or two low range light sources.
R9 5900x, 32gb ram, 1080ti

I already use the cpu fix, if with the top slider you mean curve density and hair multiplier, yes it affects the fps but setting it too low makes some hair really awful. Can't find ''hair assett shader type''
