It hasn't really catered to anything for the last two years. Gone nearly update free for total rebuilds twice, and the first time for nearly a year and the second for what, a year and a half now?

Don't know exactly. All I know is that every time I happen to look at the updates on patreon its almost always a trap, and the last time I played the only new content wasn't straight, at least that I saw.
Are you talking about the prince from the Royal Summons update back in May 2020? Also, apparently I was wrong. They released the second rebuild last July and then went back to their regularly scheduled "nothing but blog-style progress reports," which has been ongoing since then. I haven't really looked into that update, since apparently I didn't even realize it had ever come out. Looks like it included some sex scenes with the catboys from the first dungeon, along with more stuff involving other existing characters?
Honestly I wouldn't bet on this game long term. It was promising when I first found it, but the developers leave much to desire in terms of follow-through.

Maybe? Honestly this game has done nothing with itself in so long its hard to remember. This is definitely a game feature creep killed, reworking the game constantly + trying to have every fetish in a game is a disaster
Worse, for all outside appearances it can be assumed there's some degree of trouble within the team. They made an announcement a few years back about hiring a few porn artists with popular social media followings, and those artists went completely radio silent on their relevant platforms for some months. And then they started posting as though nothing had stopped, and I've yet to see any evidence of their work in the game itself.

I can't see this being anything but permanently abandoned in the future. Between the scope of the game and the dwindling Patreon earnings, the project is no longer really feasible. We're going to have to accept that the game's either going to die or lose a lot of its planned mechanics and become a shell of itself. Maybe the latter could be great, but it'll never be the game that was pitched however many years ago.
Already is a shell of its former self, at least last time I looked. If we're lucky, they'll get their publisher (Critical Bliss) to help with an update that can bring things back. That said, if we hit 12 months since the last public developer update I may consider revisiting work on my expansion mod, since "abandoned" is just as stable as "complete," albeit for different reasons.

Is it worth playing? Content-wise.
I usually don't bother with Abandoned games, but I marked this one to play when it was completed (since the art and game looked nice in the pics).
If there is very little content, or if I'm up for a big disappointment (for example it's so buggy it's unplayable) - could anyone give me a heads up please?

the sad part is, this project was doomed from the start.
this would never come even close to its target promisses, because there were too many, and the game was a jumbled mess.
now, this could still deliver something great, if only they focused on something, instead of trying to do everything at once.
if anything, i hope developers start to realize that, while it may sound nice to promisse the moon, and every other celestial body in existance, it would do them well to just go for one thing at a time, and work it enough before moving on to the next target.
this game had alot of promisse, but the convoluted vision and unfocused design really made it something that would never deliver.

See this message. While the developer claims to still be working on the game, until evidence proves work is being done (aka until an update happens) the game has been marked as abandoned by forum staff due to the overwhelming lack of work being done on the game.
I'm really hoping this isn't abandoned, I picked it up on Steam around the beginning of the year without any knowledge of the development issues and enjoyed what I played. I was getting annoyed by how the most recent update on the Steam page was from December, and then happened to stumble upon it on here and saw the abandoned tag. Glad to see it's not officially abandoned, yet, and that it's just people assuming it is based on the lack of content. I guess I'll stay hopeful that I didn't waste my money, because I actually really enjoyed the game.

It's not the lack of content, it's the lack of communication and evidence of the game being worked on for the past X amount of months. If you're wondering why the site tags games as abandoned, it's because some developers straight up ghost or lie about working on the game. The tag is not meant to be a slight against the developer, it exists to help people filter out games in development that haven't shown signs of life in a long time.
