What would you like me to add to the game in the next update?

  • The connection (police) mechanic. This would be a new "currency" and a new batch of upgrades.

Doing a quick run from the start and I'm noticing a few of my hires (maybe 1 in 10) are not starting with a specialty at all. I only noticed after Delta White (I set all my packs to 0 to speed up testing) was given hot teacher but had no specialty at all.

I restarted the game and hired my 24 girls again. This time a different group of three had no specialty.

Is this a bug, an issue with the girlpacks, or are some girls not supposed to have specialties?
The game tries to force a specialty; I need to introduce more checks to lock it in. Noted, thank you.

9.3.J is now live.
A couple of things I noticed on the play though.

1) One of my Crown Jewels was a girl I already had. Didn't cause any trouble, I just sent the one I already had to a full-time back stage role. I had to move her back stage because ...

2) "Retiring" the first of the duplicates did ... nothing. She didn't disappear from my roster or from the selection panel. I don't know if it was because the CJ version was still live.

3) When I got to the secret portion of the crown jewels it just sort of bugged the whole system. I had a girl active in that area and she never came back. It let me do the secret stuff with a girl ... but she was just gone forever, too. I played another 2 weeks and both girls were nowhere to be found.

But what you've done is great. I truly enjoy the depth you've provided.

Appreciate the bug reports. Will be working on fixes for them as best as I can.

I appreciate your patience in this regard. Testing CJ is VERY time consuming cause setting it up is a grinder (and you can't start it on existing playthrough)

Might want to talk to one of the pack makers who makes Mac packs, because this means it's not finding the files, so there might be some Mac-specific thing you need to do. I know that mac users' packs have some differences but I'm not an expert on the platform.
and who makes packs for macos?

I might have found a small display-bug with a crowm jewel girl.

At last I could afford one crown jewel and as I suppose, this girl should have a value of 100 in all relevant attributes.
If you are in the screen "See staff" there is no number shown at the attribute Foreplay.

i have done some testing with a new file as well, and even on a new file, the group skill will not increase, while every other stat does, so i think there is something wrong

I assure you, stats increase. This behavior is very tested.


Try wearing the skillup costume, it makes a huge difference.

As for Foreplay: 100 not fully displaying, that's just because of a lack of room in the text field in the setup, I'd wager, that's an easy fix.

and i can confirm that all stats increase, but the group skill. I have tried it too often, to get unlucky, when all normal skill are rising by 30-50 per day, but group does not change at all, when I go for group improvement. It stopped improving in the v9.3.J Version, when i switched back to the 9.2 it is still working, so something must have happened in the process

michiforever is correct. Just checked my game. Group booths, at least modular, are increasing Sex stat not Group stat.

I just checked with random booths. Issue remains.

Okay here's my feedback on this version, aside from the above no specialty and group training bugs.

Other than those two things I didn't really come across any major bugs so most of this will be personal opinions on UI and gameplay. That said, even though I unlocked the crown jewels I have no idea what secret stuff there is involving them. I looked around and couldn't spot anything. Don't know if it's obvious and I missed it or if it really is hidden.

The inefficiency at the end of the day is really prominent, I think because of the text size. Obviously this gets better with an accountant (and other info coming in) but the large size and the fact that it's the first feedback you get in the game makes it seem more important than it is.

Doesn't seem to be any gain at all in the booths without a trainer. Might want to adjust to a slow accumulation? I do like the trainer and what it brings and how fast it gets with a costume so this is a toss-up really. But in the early game no improvement at all feels kinda bad.

Backstage leader seems real strong. Having 50 energy back with, I think, a 70 trainer and one upgrade. Maybe a lower energy raise mixed with some other bonus? Again, this works fine in keeping a smaller stable early (which can be necessary when filling backstage roles) so it's really also a toss-up in terms of design.

Backstage girls don't make money(for themselves). This can be problematic if you want them to take classes to keep up with the other girls. However, pulling backstage girls periodically to put them in booths to make the money to take classes can potentially make for interesting gameplay.

The backstage girls thing is really cool. I really like it, however it is sort of easy to throw them in the back and kind of forget about them since they grow automatically. Maybe they could hit thresholds that require them to reacquaint themselves with frontline work before they can be surpassed. Related to openness? Or other skills? Or classes? Or specific objectives? I'm spitballing here.

Bug: The retraining traits investor perk does work but it doesn't show up instantly, only after refreshing the screen. Also it says retrain 3 but I'm not sure it used any currency at all that I could see, and it did not increase in cost as it was supposed to.

That's it for this round, overall a really nice addition with the backstage and the crown jewels. The backstage stuff is powerful but seems streamlined enough that the bonuses don't come in too fast, and I like that crown jewels is a separate gameplay mode.

Oh yeah, I see you removed Zoom from the booths. I know you've mentioned how much of a pain it was because booths 2-6 weren't working and you had other stuff you wanted to work on. To me the Zoom represents the dichotomy of the porn game, in that it is utterly irrelevant to gameplay while being, I would argue, critical to the porn. The ability to pause and zoom in on a particularly hot sequence really helps keep things hot. Just my opinion.

Overall, let me say, some awesome stuff in here. Game feels complex without being overwhelming. Brokers are starting to feel a little bit irrelevant, if still useful. Investors feel good, and backstage feels pretty essential as of right now. I wonder if it might be more beneficial to allow backstage position unlocks over multiple tiers so they don't feel like they're sucking up all your girls immediately?

Anyways, this is already too long. Awesome job, as usual, Disgruntler. And again thanks for taking up the banner on this game and doing such good work with it.

Temporarily. I'm going to be rewriting the code and interface for it (into something far easier to work with in the code), and removing it (for now) means I can focus on that. Don't worry, I have not 86'd it.


Your feedback, as always, is extremely valuable and well thought out. I'm currently hammering out some non-porn-game related creative stuff, so it'll take some time to get back to this and get things hammered out. But I'll make sure to remind myself of your observations and consider it for my next balance sweep.

Finally had to go ahead and keep two separate girlpacks for TUSC and VCHH (sigh). With the changes made in VCHH I think I will have to go ahead and pair down my girlpack for this game to include only the girls I want for this one. This is not a bad thing because I want to keep my girlpack as a whole for TUSC but some girls just were not made to do enough performances to make them viable for VCHH but are viable for TUSC. Plus, I think I will do some personal editing of the JSONS for VCHH to include the items you have mentioned here, such as firstgirl=true and such. I did not do this before because I was basically being lazy, lol, and I do have the hard drive space to do so (talking about over 600 girlpacks, lol). Cannot wait to try out your latest build, thank you again for your hard work! Yeah, I know, I am a hoarder of girlpacks.....so sue me...

A request for backstage jobs in VCHH:

I usually do this every day:
1. Remove staff from the desired positions (trainer, secretary, etc.);
2. Select the girls that I want to perform on stage;
3. Move back and select the remaining staff to fill the positions.

The problem is, I have to literally take note of the girls I assigned to perform on stage in order to avoid selecting them for a backstage job.

Would it be possible to make the "stage girls" unavailable for "backstage jobs" or at least give the player a warning that they are currently assigned to the stage?

My current plan is to include what they're currently doing (resting, being ready for the stage, or which backstage job they have) as this all is in the same data field internally and I think this might help you out as well as help avoid accidentally moving girls without intending to between backstage work.

You need to do all of Nicole's Checklist and report to her each time. Then once you have it all done, you unlock the Accountant office. You can set someone up there. A couple traits give a bonus to working this. Most jobs are helped by openness or popularity or other skills, this job is an exception. Only familiarity with the club and a girl's trait will help you here, however that familiarty with the club is worth more than any other job. Either way, get a girl as an accountant--Nicole is a good choice here. Once they train up enough on the job you'll see inefficiency turn into gains before you know it.

Sounds like a very useful utility to have, thumbs up on that idea! I dont know if CaptC has anything like that already made, I know that he has made several utilities in Python but might be useful to ask? As long as it is not in Python because idiots like myself cannot get a grasp on it, haha. Its going to be an initial pain in the ass but will pay off in the long run I think. A little hard work in the beginning to save hard work in the end.... Currently transfering girlpacks now then going to check out your text document to get the work started!

I have scripts that automatically update all the cost and money attributes (similar to what scramble mode does, only permanently in the json files.) I also have scripts that flag many different errors in the json files. I have nothing that allows interactive modification of traits.

I am sorry that python is not for everyone. But then, I built the tools for me, and published them after only after requests.
