Yeah, I'm stuck in a rough spot trying to find art for it.

Art criticisms came in that the art for a scene is human when they're a goblin. Some situations just don't have art that I can use. I might try my hand at something similar to Degrees of Lewdity and have pixel art but that would add even more time to the game.
As long as the image is somewhat reminiscent as to what is going on/looks like the scene at play or if the pairing is at least of the same races looking like they are doing the thing on the scene that's fine with me, don't stress out too much about images, although pixel-art or some AI in the future could be neat but not necessary for now in my opinion.

I seem to remember a discussion a ways back here, about the images in the game and things not matching up.
It's all good for me, as long as the image is vaguely reminiscent of the scene, I am fine with it. Having the images always match the partners involved is always nice, but I tend to be pretty forgiving about it myself.

Have you tried searching sites like E-hentai or E621 for stuff like that? If you have, it's no big deal. It just seems strange that it is difficult to find goblin porn images.
Most male goblin art is rape which does make it a bit hard to fit it into regular scenes. The solution I've made is that all art defaults to human if there is no art available.

I do use those two sites but I also have Danbooru and Gelbooru as well. I also skim Reddit, 4chan and FunnyJunk as well for art.

It's only really a problem if no art exists. I never really considered Kobolds but apparently there's not as much as I assumed there would be. Fairy too, I added them to the game because I saw the goblin-fairy art but aside from some Tinkerbell stuff there isn't a whole lost I would like to use.

I'm not too worried about it, there's too much else to do in the game for it to really be an issue.

I have 0.6 as a test build up on my .

Like always, its free.

It is heavily a WIP as there's many barren or just broken areas but it works as a test.

if you can you could try and utilise AI like Stable Diffusion or ComfyUI to make your own art

I'm waiting for the wrong fingers issues to go away before I try stuff with tails and wings.

NovelAI still has some bugs I want to be ironed out.

something i am wondering. would it not have bin better to just keep doing the game on qsp? like u have done so much in the game and u did add new magic to just switch over. or is it better with the program u are using now?

QSP dropping variables and things resetting/locking out is why I'm swapping over to twine.
Twine has much more documentation available in English than QSP, too. Having to rely on MTL for documentation (and any other information that might help) when you get an error is a pain I know all too well from my days of tinkering with obscure Japanese software.

I have about 1680 "passages", basically pages of code/location data/ect. The scroll wheel on the program I have to use, as there is only the one, stops working so I have to manually drag down.

Variables drop and quests just break for people because their QSP program is one or more versions out of date. Playing with a russian version caused the player to level up until the game crashed.

Things don't trigger which leave people locked in quests and I've manually fixed saves sent to me in dms because things broke.

It's getting a little too much jank for what it is.

The choice of image is a plus, it shouldn't be the driving force of the story imho. However, having them is something extra that doesn't hurt and it is appreciated.

that make's a lot more sense when I was playing the game there was a few quest that i thought i was missing something to complete it cause i leveled to high so i would just start over and then it would fix did not report it cause i really enjoyed the game. i have not tried out the new one version yet see i was asking cause i seen your poll to change it and i thought u may have made that choice sole on the polls so when u get the game to near where it was on qsp i will get back into it and see what changes u have done

So I'm not a bad pixel artist, per se. I technically did gig work once as one of the Space Station 13 servers paid me like $20 to draw some stuff that got thrown out.

If I did a little paperdoll for the art type it would allow for the player to have a better idea of what they look like and I wouldn't need 30 images to show the player that they are an elf.

HOWEVER

I often get sidelined into projects that take a long time and have no real benefit. I'm not sure if I'll add clothes to it yet. There are not many clothes in Vicindio so it won't be too bad, only real change is that there are multiple skin tones.

I'm adding a poll, and a MEGA link so you can play with the few options available if you want to look at it, on my . It's free to view/vote if you want to.

Some time ago I did several works in pexel art, at an amateur level and for Minecraft. I don't mind seeing that kind of art and representation.

Man That looks great honestly for just paperdoll references. The only problem would be is taking up that workload to do A Male/Female(Futa with Male assets) base body, The serveral types of Cock and Boob sizes, Several race ears/tails/wings and even full head changes, possible pregnancy variants (In the case of a non-humanoid litter preg or the like) and that would be it. I think it wouldn't be a reasonable thing to want to model all the clothes in as that would be a lot of work that might be a waste of effort if most people care about seeing the bodies anyway. Tossing in some ideas, Some Zoomed in shots of genitals, Bellies, and Tits would be nice as you could apply that to NPCs to get a feel on their sizes.

I don't do things the easy way which anyone who has been here for all 200 pages can tell you.

I'll slowly get in all of the race options, as best I can, and I'll see where I'm at then.

One of the things I considered was using a pixel base for art since certain race pairings just don't exist. Something like Degrees of Lewdity has but more broken as those guys are better at coding and art than I am.

I don't think there is a multi-racial multi-gendered paperdoll anywhere. Once I get my base races and stuff in I'll probably post it in the Game Asset section for others to mess with.

Not much of an update for 0.7, but I got cat ears and tails on the paperdoll.

Are you going to have like a system between the race paperdolls? I can Imagine Kobolds, Goblins, and Lizardfolk would have to need different models. It's escaping me right now but transformations happen as a whole body thing on the QSP version? Can't think of like certain body parts like Goblin Legs on what is a normal human otherwise. Also is there going to be an option to disable the transformations? I don't mind as a classic CoC/Flexible Survival Enjoyer but I can't imagine people that went goblin and start turning into a wolf trying to get the breeder mutations.
