Here are a few videos that are not included in the OP. There's also one test video I thought others might appreciate. I will interpolate them to 60 fps soon.

Also, it turns out "Playing with her food" was part of "A deal to die for".

Have you seen my explanation on the "gliches"
If you don't know what that means, I suggest you switch to some more advanced video players (and interpolation toolchains) that let you switch between HW and SW decoding.

As it's the decoding issue there are no "glitch free" files, in fact there are no "glitches" at all.
Of course, if someone re-encode them to within hardware capability, the issue won't happen but re-encode is re-encode, you know.
Another way is to ask the author to render the video again.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize you meant the media player. I have tried VLC, Windows Media Player, and Windows Photos. Which other player would you suggest (and with what settings)?
SVFI does have an option for hardware decoding, which is currently enabled. I'll see if that makes a difference.

VLC have an option to control HW decoding, in the preferences, input/codec section, default is auto

Try K-Lite Codec Pack

Thanks, everyone, for your help. I tried K-Lite, and that worked fine. It seems it is indeed a decoding issue in the other media players. I can't help but feel a little embarrassed. :HideThePain:
I will run the affected videos through interpolation again, without hardware support, to see if that fixes the glitches. I will remove them from my collection, for now.
To your original question, dungeon_seige.

Update: the problem is one with codecs; the originals play fine on a media player with the correct codec support (K-Lite Codec Pack). Second, the interpolation process probably suffers from hardware decoding. So, I'll remove the affected videos for now, and I'll try to create correct ones.
This whole time I thought it was because of an issue with my CPU. Yeah I've always gotten artifacts on those specific videos unless I turn hardware acceleration off.
use mpv or K-Lite codec. Dont use any other players.
It also happens in MPV.

Use the base player. Dont use it via plugins
It'll be the same. The screenshots I posted was base mpv.
The problem with hardware decoders exists independently of video players.

By the way, the "codec" is not the issue. If no correct codec is present the video won't be decoded at all.
K-Lite Codec Pack uses LAVFilters IIRC, which refuses to HW decode these out-of-capability videos correctly.

You only think it works correctly because hardware acceleration is not enabled by default. You should probably know what you're talking about before telling others what to do.
Dunno about you I have never faced any issues. The reason I said is because most of the common glitches can be fixed with right player. If issue still persist, then the problem is on your side. *shrug*

I did a test, and the interpolations with and without hardware decoding were equally fast. So, I suppose I'll just keep it turned off from now on. I have uploaded the corrected versions, i.e. no more glitches, regardless of the media player. See my post here.

Is Vicineko turning the latest clips with that huge dick thing into a full video?
They are working on 2 videos currently:
  • Ellen Joe from Zenless Zone Zero
  • Melody from VShojo
They haven't released any new clips since September though. I dunno if there was some delay or if they took a short break.
