It looks to me like they haven't been active anywhere since 2019, but their batreon is still up
Not sure, but I remember the Dev was having some SERIOUS issues with his eyes and there was a fear of severe or total vision loss. With the sudden end to development, I think things got bad. I doubt there will be anything new, but I do hope that things got better.

This game needs a remake by a developer who wants to make a good game and make some money. 
He already has a lot of potential, lots of appreciation reactions, and to me looks very well structured, it is Ren'Py format already, the code is good because it has very few bugs and there is no need to specify that the girls look very good.

I pulled a Peter Jackson on the script, totally redesigned the characters, revamped the interface, updated the story so it's more believable and redid almost every single graphic. If you are devoted to the original then I don't suggest you play my standalone mod. But I hope you give it a try at some point when it gets released
Oh damn. That's one hell of an undertaking. For sure I'll check it out when it's ready to go.

I am determined to keep the essence of the original characters as they are and stick to the storyline as much as possible. I only want to add to things, not detract from them. Just trying to make the characters their dialogue and motivations all more realistic. Hope you like the new Mia

Then why not create your own game? Your character looks do not even approach the slightly Asian features of the girls. That is what made them unique. That made VoF stand out from all the other projects. Just saying.

I tried making my own game but I was learning everything from scratch and it was too much to do at first. So I figured I would start with remaking a game that I liked but didn't love. As for character design, I went back and forth for over 4 months with different technologies and a combination of AI and real porn seemed to do the best for me. If you don't like it I completely understand

True. Not that i'm not happy someone picks this up since the story was nice, but, from what I remember, didn't make it unique. Mostly the character design, especially Mia, made me sad when it was abandoned.

It is just going to take time for AI to expand its model capabilities. Right now too many models look the same. Doing what you are doing will give you a heads up for your own creation in the future for sure.
