Maybe you are right. But a do believe if i download something and I like it. I will buy the original. Same as the files i download from here. If i like them. Then i will sub the creator. Until they ban me..
Agree completely with your position, hence why they should release this stuff for free with donations optional. If we get to actually try their work, think "this is pretty damn good", then of course many people will then donate to them. It's how the entire PC gaming industry basically functions now with torrenting.

The closest they do now is a "limited release" of their scene with the majority of the bells and whistles ripped out, and then you have to pay $10 just to access that single scene, even if you hate the rest of their stuff... It's a horrible customer service model and provides practically no value.

I am/was a key mod on Klub17 (ModsGarden), and I know for a fact there are hundreds of people on there who refuse to migrate to VaM because of this paywall crap, and these are hard working modders, modellers, texture creators etc who would give immensely to this community for no remuneration. Instead we get a handful of absolute legends who put their stuff out for free, and all these paywall guys who create absolute dog shit asset rips and minimal effort scenes, and think they are """VaM devs""".

Disable collisions on the environment asset you're using, re-align the model to be slightly above the floor, then re-enable collision on the environment asset. Might have to lower her down slightly until the colliders register and you see her legs start reacting to the surface.

I know this is pretty obvious, but make sure her collisions are enabled too... Happens to us all.

Try rotating the feet forward-down so the toes are touching the floor, which should rotate the heels to be in the correct position... That's all I can think of :HideThePain:

Edit: Yeah, you just rotate the foot down, as you can see in the pic (foot in background looks like yours, foreground is when rotated).

You have to do it manually so enable Sim and then select Undress, you will be able to move it in VR using your hands, if you use Desktop you will need a sphere cloth grab or something like that.

And here's my adjusted Samara with a bit more meat on the hips, proper eyes, adjusted teeth and physics.

Thanks for all the people that reported the problems and helped me test, i have been able to found the root cause of the problem, it seems that Version 2.9 is unable to generate a new clientID, so we will be using version 2.8 (that is the same thing) that works ok, now, version 2.9 and 2.8 share a bug that the author wasnt unable to solve so i made a little PATCH that solves the problem (the author is more than welcome to use it lol)

So you will need the version 2.8 patched that is here:
Please ONLY use this version, Also this version contains Formation and VarScanner 1.2

Now steps to enable:

Be sure to first open VAM_Updater.exe and press: "Options"

Then "Sync Repair Core"

Then extract ALL the files from the GoldenPack inside your main VAM FOLDER overwriting when asked, if you dont overwrite it wont work (Specially for the Mono Cecil DLL)

Open VAM and press "Open Default Scene"

After it loads in a BLACK SCREEN

Go to "User preferences", then "Misc", and then check "On Startup skip...."

After that press "Scene Plugins" enter to "Open Custom UI"

And Enable the check, then turn off VAM and start it again and once it loads wait some seconds before attempting to open any VAR SCENE (if none is visible just wait it has to cache), its going to scan all your vars an generates them, it will open in a BLACK SCREEN dont PANIC, press Toggle UI and then the STAR, just remember dont do it very quickly because the system will be generating the VAR cahe in the background (in one test i was very quick to enter the STAR, and an error popped up, and had to restart VAM) be patient the amount of time depends on the number of vars you have.

After that everythng will work normally.

Tech explanation of the problem (you can skip if you want)

The explanation is simple the plugin needs to be loaded to generate the VARS, and with the current new MENU it doesnt load any scene nor any plugins, when the plugin is loaded and its checked the system invokes a DLL ( \BepInEx\plugins\Console\i18N.Unicode.dll ) this DLL has a function called Initialized()

If this doesnt run then RefreshCo() doesnt run, and FileManager.Refresh(); doesnt get invoked, that is the one that loads all your VARS, note that it check the license during that, and if the license is not correct it will return false, so Initialized doesnt run lol...

So if after everything you have problems, delete the client.txt (dont use other people clientid) and restart VAM, the client.txt will regenerate, and after that use the keygen again to generate the key.pfx (the client id will change because it has some random numbers inside)

the client.txt its generated inside \BepInEx\plugins\Console\Lib\vnscenescriptext_objcam11.py

In this line of code: client = str(SystemInfo.graphicsDeviceVendorID) + "-582-" + str(SystemInfo.graphicsDeviceID) + "-" + str(random.randint(1000000, 9999999))+"."+SystemInfo.deviceUniqueIdentifier

So if you use the clientid from someone else it wont validate because its using your PC hardware IDs

Someone also asked earlier today about Minotaur models. Might experiment with it has like 30+ pages of fantasy creatures and beast daz3d morphs. Wouldn't suggest keeping it in your addon folders for that reason of morph spam.
Thank you for the attempt.. however, I am not looking for half-human half-animal hybrids.
I am looking for actual animals.. i.e.. your family dog, your pet horse, if in a forest a deer or wolf.
Somewhere previously in this thread there was a link to dog assets, but they all had a big ol' Red Rocket. they would have been fine to use if it wasn't for that. also, sadly, they weren't posable or I was too stupid to figure out how to animate them, and couldn't get the red rockets to be hidden.
But once again, thank you for trying. much appreciated.

I just feel giddy seeing physics in action. It just seems like a pipedream. Maxing out skirt itteration and hair physics. That plugin saving at 120 fps at higher res and downsampled to 1080p60. The fog colorbands but thats just the plugin.

c&g booty shake dance 7 camride that wasn't available before.

really don't mean to bother but I am unable to tell which post you are referring to. I see a lot of people saying different things about how to get this working and I am completely confused... I just downloaded Goldenpack 2.8. What next? .. if you don't mind explaining what to do next right after downloading Goldenpack 2.8. I see your recent walkthrough but am not sure if there are any steps that need to be taken to get there. I was reading something about client.txt and key.pfx but not sure what all of that is.

Nice i kinda did my own tried streamables got banned before i could even look lmao. So tried here but it looks like ass now added audio through windows saving at 1080 from 2k 30 fps xvid sucks lol

Nope the meta.json are just meta data for the indexes, dependencies and info that shows on the package system, lets do an example:

VAR: ddaamm.Megan.4.var

meta.json includes like i said just the reference as you can see:

As you can see it has a "Saves/scene/ddaamm/Megan(A).json" lets take that for example:

As you can see the morphs inside reference to other VARS and inside the VAR itself, so if you unpack it and delete it from the VAR the reference will be damaged and your scene wont be able to find the clothes, hairs, or morphs...
I have an app that fixes all that.

Ugly precision it's a bad workaround, hes just trying to keep overall complexity low and such cpu cycles you can reach that in many more efficient ways then the path hes gone.

Though you hardly will reach Nvidias direct Framebuffer capture efficiency
