Over the last year this community has changed, and so has the way we use this thread. We have regular input from our own creatives, looks, scenes, custom unity assets, textures, even tools. People are able to operate here with a level of creative freedom that isn't accessible or available anywhere else. The amount of random assets and knowledge base we have at our disposal, means that any request or question is answered quickly and comprehensively. Someone asked for a Aircraft carrier and got it in day! Seriously, a fucking Aircraft carrier.
Yeah, sure it might move at supersonic speed, it's chaotic and random at times, but it has a charm that clearly a lot of people love. And yeah, there might be drama, but the official VAM forums has drama as well, often more toxic and cutthroat as their competitive financial interests clash.
The alt-vam community here is a growing one, it's friendly, helpful, funny, irreverent and it would be a real shame to lose that in its ascendancy.
I still prefer they just picked the thread up, moved it lock stock over to
https://f95zone.to/forums/general-discussions.9/ and rename it '[VAM] Virt-A-Mate General Discussion Thread' or something. That way it would no longer an Asset thread, we would be encouraged to use the Assets section, but all the people and booty we have gathered to our cause remains on F95 in one searchable thread.
Anyway, just in case we don't regroup somewhere else on the forum, it's been a lot of fun people.
