Yes, maybe it is related to FPS.
I just checked the fps in this scene and here's what I got:

It's extremelly low for my config (9900KS / 32GB RAM / 3080) considering the scene is simple (2 characters, a table, a light).
What's more, I've used the desktop mode to take the screenshot (1080p), but I normally only use VAM in VR, so performance is even worse than that... I'm supposed to be at 90fps in VR without any reprojection on a scene like that.
However, as I said in my first post, maybe it's because the physics are buggy that it's slow, not the opposite? (because there are a lot of collisions happening all the time so everything lags because of it). But I'm just speculating, as I really don't know what's causing this problem.
Here are the settings I use.
Please note that Physic Rate is usually AUTO => 90Hz (or forced to 90Hz) on my VR headset but since I took the screenshot on desktop it's different.

EDIT: unchecking "High Quality Physics" seems to lower the "bouncing". It's still present but less noticeable. Thanks for the tip
