5900x, 1080ti and 32gb of ram +50GB pagefile on the D: drive (M2) to absolutely make sureOh... I already tried it. But I'm mostly CPU bottlenecked, so no big gains... =/
What are your specs?
Have you tried5900x, 1080ti and 32gb of ram +50GB pagefile on the D: drive (M2) to absolutely make sure
Iam also using process lasso ontop of the cpu fix.
Idk if that makes sense, but it definitely helps on my end.
I've tried. But I mainly use VR so that's off the table.Have you triedYou must be registered to see the links? its an upscaler/ frame gen program. It's not free sadly... I use AFMF for framegen in VaM since it is built into my driver utility.
You must be registered to see the linksis Digital Foundry comparing Lossless scaling, FSR3 framegen (AFMF is a part of this) and DLSS 3 framegen. TLDR; it takes minimal resources to 2 or 3x your framerate..... at least visually.
managed to grab it from another user on the VaM hubdoes anyone know where i can get Do Not Distribute.Import_Reloaded_Full_Addon.latest ?
Yeah, I dont play in VR, so the experience is much more "passive". Any added input lag is not really noticable when you cant interact with anything in real timeI've tried. But I mainly use VR so that's off the table.
Also there is quite some input lag when I've tested this with other games.
Go Here -->alter3go-collectiondoes anyone have Alter3go.Anya? the link in another thread is dead
Looks like VKStyle. There's a collection here.hat to keep asking stuff, but anyone know who this model is by?

Yes.How is your performance in VR? I know it depends on scene/headset, but how is overall experience? Do you get playable FPS?
First, thanks for recommending Var BrowserJust in case anyone is curious about the details as to why more .vars slows down VAMYou must be registered to see the linksis MeshedVR (the main dev of VAM) explaining what the culprit is.
TLDR; the game engine references every morph you have installed each frame. So the more morphs(often included with looks), the more that needs to be computed each frame.
Having a lot of clothing installed does appear to slow down the person atom menu, but I cant confirm that.
You must be registered to see the linksis the most complete solution to the load times/low fps as already mentioned. Also Browser Assist has a working beta that currently has a "var management" feature which achieves the same goal of speeding up load times/ boosting fps by unloading Vars you arent using.
So "installing" a var will move it (and it's dependencies) to Addonpackages so that VaM can see it. If you just click a scene from the scene view in Varbrowser that will load the scene, though you can click the little gear in the corner of the icon to "install in background" or autoinstall/favourite that var.First, thanks for recommending Var Browser
Would just like to ask how do u add more scenes/looks?
It works fine but I noticed a lot of vars are not loaded, even though all the vars are inside AllPackages. Do I need to manually toggle "AutoInstall" inside the menu?
My experience with 'autoinstall' is that it does not install dependencies, so my autoinstalled scenes are broken, unless i manually install them. So i don't bother with clicking in that but instead only use favorites. So "installing" a var will move it (and it's dependencies) to Addonpackages so that VaM can see it. Since I don't know what is causing your problem, I've written a few things to help you get a grasp on Var browser, and hopefully find your missing vars.

Autoinstall only applies to the Var you check it for, while its dependencies will only get installed when you load the scene through Var browser. My experience with 'autoinstall' is that it does not install dependencies, so my autoinstalled scenes are broken, unless i manually install them. Try clearing your cache. or move the contents of the folder to somewhere else. EDIT: also possible that could be a few chinese vars not loading properly, check this comment for more info.so i updated vam to the latest version and now when i open a scene (even a blank one) i get this message:
You must be registered to see the links
i can still open scenes, but opening up some assets causes it it crash.
not the normal crash where i run out of memory from opening up too many scenes or a heavy scenes
for instance, i tried adding a person atom to blank scene and it crashed it. and loading the mmd plugin (not the timeline one) causes it to crash to when before i updated it it worked perfectly.
also i tried installing var browser and while it does work, it doesn't "stick". every time i open vam it like its running for the first time, taking double the amount of time to load. without, its 5 mins and with, its close to 10. and nothing ends up in the AllPackages folder. it was the same before i updated.
Like the other guy said and i said, you have to manually open it via the manager again for it to actually install the dependencies. It will not install them when you clean your installation, which is the only reason for wanting it to auto-install in the first place, so it is a completely useless and wrong functionality since it wrongly gives you an impression that a var and it's dependencies are installed since it is coloured as such.It does install the dependencies, if they are in "allpackages"
Atleast it does for me.
Another feature I really enjoyed was using VD Synchronous Spacewarp. It makes everything looks a lot more fluid. I use it along Snapdragon Super Resolution (SSR). SSR is cool because it uses the Quest 2's GPU to make image quality better. And it processes the image after encoding, which is nice because encoding always makes the image worse.5900x, 1080ti and 32gb of ram +50GB pagefile on the D: drive (M2) to absolutely make sure
