Does anyone know if there's a tool to remove texture from vars?
I usually don't download some scenes because creators add crap into it, like add an ugly female with 8k textures as base and that's the first thing I ever replace when playing it

You can open .vars with any zip program like 7zip, I usually downscale some textures and replace on those zips if they're too big.

About deleting stuff you might need to open the meta.json file and edit it to prevent any errors.

2. activate with creator key
3. put .var files in the folder addonpackages

then the content should appear in vam

Currently using Autothruster, BodyLanguage with poseloader turned off (the head and gaze seems iffy for me)

The gaze feature can be turned off btw. Toggle of the persons under the client list.

Anyone else crashing a lot? I've been doing fine for the last several months and now suddenly VAM has crashed 5 times in one night. Just random crash, no error or anything. I haven't been doing anything differently.

Edit: 8 times now. At random. I'm getting annoyed.

I've tried to do a fresh install again, helped for a bit but the crashing seems to come and go still for me

No, but latest SteamVR update broke controls. had to go beta channel and revert to previous.

I don't use the VR, I'm on desktop mode.

I THINK a windows update last night fucked around with my AMD drivers. Trying to narrow down how to fix that.
