It's just sad that one after another good creator disappears from the hub. The irony is that several of these so-called admins themselves were or are creators, although Ash.... the female she devil just poses and makes a terribly ugly intro to the hub and makes the whole thing ugly, I'm throwing up

Of course a hub should have rules. But my opinion is that as an administrator of a hub or similar you are there to help the users first and foremost, because if that is not the approach where is the democratic process?. So it may be that sometimes they have to play "policeman" and just explain how things are done. The problem is that some of these administrators overinterpret their powers and seem as if they have a need to really show the world that here they are, and they rule!. The best admins are anonymous like a good referee in a match. Creators for VAM spend a lot of hours and time creating, often a rather lonely existence, I speak from my own experience. So for you 10 likes or whatever and an admin who debugs everything you have done, and nothing but hassle and grumbling and rules. It has actually not been like this for a number of years when the hub was overflowed with creativity, today with all due respect a lot (not all) of the content is medicore. VAM and the hub are NOTHING without the creators!. But that's not the approach. I suggest annual price sharing etc. but was brushed off and misinterpreted as me criticizing the users/admin. And as soon as you are the least bit critical they close the thread!. But you can find many others with similar experiences, it's not a coincidence. There is no respect for creators who lose the desire to contribute, at least for free. I'm done with those ...... arrogant little .... And I haven't even been banned, but I can guarantee if I logged in (last 3 months ago) , my statement would ensure that.:devilish:

Oh yeah, the hub moderators don't like criticism. They literally hate criticism of any kind and ban people for it. I've personally seen this for myself. And what can I say, the hub moderators themselves break their own rules and aggressively attack users.

Vecterror like many other paywallers would regularly profit off of actual free creators NC content. The fact that they had to post an ultimatum is probably because he was being an ass and refusing to follow their rules. The rules in regards to non commercial stuff has always been the same on the hub despite being harder to enforce/track in the past. You aren’t seriously defending a paywaller over actual free modders are you? Vecterror was given the opportunity to remedy stuff and did, just as freif was in this case.

If anything I see a pattern of them giving established creators the opportunity to remedy the issue more often than not and way more second and third chances than I would ever give them. The fact that some creators, free or paid, would rather choose to not comply with rules and screw everyone using their content is telling. Fixing a license and giving credit is not an unreasonable ask, some people are just too self important to do the right thing. Given Frief has gotten pissy over not being given credit in the past this seems somewhat hypocritical on his part.

There is no reason for modders to be afraid of being on the hub or posting in discord as long as you aren’t an ass, generally respect others and follow their rules and terms. It really isn’t that complicated. I’ve had dealings with the mods in the past and they’ve always been reasonable. Ash as I’ve said I would watch what I say around only because of what I’ve observed with others. If anything you are the one chasing off modders by claiming mods randomly ban for no reason when that simply isn’t the case.

You clearly side with paywallers and modders as a rule and believe all their one sided sob stories which is your choice, but as a free content creator myself, from what I’ve observed and experienced over the years and even factoring in Ash’s power trips, people’s bans have generally been deserved and based on some rule violation.

You can disagree with their rules all you want but neither you or I are going to change them so discussing their merits would be pretty pointless.

At this point I’m pretty sure I know more details than you if all you got is freif’s sob message. Take his side all you want but in the end he did it to himself, both by refusing to work with the mods on what was a stupidly simple fix and then by issuing a takedown notice.

I’m not going to have much sympathy for paywallers (vecterror) in general so don’t bother bringing up any more of their sob stories.

I didn't deserve a ban for asking others for advice, clarifying character details, and criticizing scenes.
What were you banned for? Be honest if you can. Those reasons alone wouldn’t get you banned. Being rude and talking back to mods if they had asked you to stop something maybe but it is unlikely you were banned for just that, at least not how you are describing it. :cautious:

Not saying this is your situation but I’ve seen some pretty stupid pirating of vam content over the years where someone has same account name here, on hub, on their patreon account and also on discord, that if discovered or reported by paywallers could theoretically possibly get you hub banned (especially if you were actively posting links here). No idea how common this scenario is but I have seen instances of this in the past.

These should be common sense but, asking about pirated content or pirating in general on any of the official channels/website could likely get you banned.

asking about pedo stuff or pedo creators or posting about anything of this ilk would also result in a swift ban.

Administrator Ash... discussed vecterror publicly (discord) without including him because others had mentioned he was threaten to be banned. I told her maybe she should talk to him first before she mentioned him in the discord, arrogant as a .... she just replied they had brought it up, they?. Until several times I have experienced her making fun of a user and then just saying it was just a joke. And whether you don't feel sorry for paypall's user has nothing to do with the discussion!. It's the way they communicate and manage the hub that's my problem.. What kind of insider info are you talking about?. You can't make such a reference and then not mention it.

As I already wrote, I was literally banned for several things, essentially. For asking for advice, for asking questions. For criticizing something I didn't particularly like. I criticized without being rude. For advising someone to use plugins or something else to improve their content.

Ash suddenly came to me and started telling me to stop, even though I literally didn't understand why I should stop or what I might be violating. When I found a screenshot of the model and started asking for clarification, I received partial answers, but I didn't get all the details and had to ask again.
Ash slandered me, claiming it was harassment, even though I was simply asking about the character's clothing, morphs, and hair. If the author hadn't wanted to share anything, they could have written to me about it right away.
Another time, she slandered me, when the author allegedly removed the scene from the hub because of my criticism, even though there's no evidence the author removed the content because of me. I even personally asked at the beginning if I could write an objective critique of what I didn't like, and the author agreed to listen to me.

UPD: I'm using Google Translate and used it in the hub, so some words and sentences may not be translated correctly. But I assure you, I've never tried to be rude to anyone. Although, most likely, the moderators are just really down on their luck. They don't like other people's opinions, not at all.

I saw that conversation, it is still in discord in its entirety for anyone interested, and ash only commented after vecterror made false claims that it was over a screenshot. Even meshed followed up which is rare, that vecterror had been contacted weeks before privately and had ignored it. You were there for it and part of it as was vecterror. Did you not read any of the previous or follow up messages?

Google or not, it's pretty clear what you're describing. There are far too many cases to just say it's because you don't follow the rules or you got banned. And I don't think it's fun to attack individuals, but since she was hired to manage the hub, it's only gone one way and that's down. Your ego is also obvious when you're responsible for the entire setup of the hub and we have to see your mediocre model in the welcome picture. The point is her ego is big or needs to be big.

Yes I did, but stopped the verbal discussion because I know what it had ended with. That doesn't change the fact that she hung him out to dry. And I'm not saying that Vecterror was innocent or guilty, it was the way she communicated that was the problem. And they must really feel threatened when the mesh comes out of the bush. It's a good thing she has a lawyer in you here, so she doesn't just get negatively attacked and that's actually meant completely fair without sarcasm, now comes sarcasm - just have to hope you don't report back to her?.:giggle:

I remember someone said: When arguments run out in an argument, insults and so on come into play. And this is well illustrated in the dialogue between me and Ash. When I was in a group chat in the Hub (if that's what it's called), when they issued me some warnings, I tried to politely inquire about what exactly I'd violated. And why can't I offer valid criticism and ask people for details? Instead of an adequate response, I'd get: "We're giving you another warning."
This shows she had no arguments at all. All she could do was issue warnings. And I didn't care about these warnings. I even tried to complain about her and filed a complaint, but alas, it was all in vain.
She only responded once, saying, "The author already answered me and wrote down what materials I needed for the look." However, the author didn't tell me everything, so I had to ask again. She implied that repeated questions were harassment.

I have experienced her making fun of a well-known friendly helpful super user (not mentioning his name, he knows who he is) who then wrote to her that it was a bit disrespectful, and I then wrote to her that you can't communicate like that as an administrator!, where the user then pulled away and said there was no problem between him and her. Try and look at their forum thread, it is lifeless and probably reminds me of North Korea's head office for communication.

People were also banned for "insulting " her baby - the new Hub:sick: And we are not talking about slandering but simply criticizing some aspects of the hub's initiatives. I admit openly that I am guilty of praising its initiatives myself, but honestly I think it is an ugly duckling that has never become a swan, but its a matter of taste, pss - but don't criticize it,or you will make her/them. And it's a bit comical when you create a thread to offer constructive criticism for the new hub and have difficulty handling a little more than just pats on the back and very cautious requests for change.

As I’ve said, ash isn’t the one to butt heads with, right or wrong, guaranteed to not end well.
yea, I remember this ultimate karen tried taking f95 down last year "very hard" lol , this from vam discord too:

"FWIW, I did try very hard to get certain websites taken offline by contacting bigger fish. Unortunately, I was told those websites have already been taken down several times, but they just come back in some other country with different laws."

Then Sam exposed her for being a pirate too..... Karen of the century

Yes, creators have to take it up the butt and not say anything, avoid butting heads. But vecterror and others with patreons do it because they make money!! Doing this to all modders scares free creators away and leaves just those with bigger reasons to do content (money). For free creators what's the point to create free addons in this conditions and deal with all this shit? It's clear why creators say fuck it and quit. At least here they should be welcomed to share....

I have the impression that it is already happening, more or less officially (meaning: using different nicknames) some good patreon-guys they seem to accept sharing "opinions" also about their paywalled content, in f95... as meshed himself was doing at the beginning of vam-age, because f95 is/was one of the best promotional site for it's creation.

Hah, and what will she do? She'll shake her finger and say, "Oh, oh, oh, you can't do that, I'm warning you!" You have to defend your point of view when the truth and the arguments are on your side. But on the other hand, it's useless to argue with idiots. As the saying goes, "If a person is an idiot, it's for a long time." She's a nobody to me, and I have no name for her.
