yea, I remember this ultimate karen tried taking f95 down last year "very hard" lol , this from vam discord too:

"FWIW, I did try very hard to get certain websites taken offline by contacting bigger fish. Unortunately, I was told those websites have already been taken down several times, but they just come back in some other country with different laws."

Then Sam exposed her for being a pirate too..... Karen of the century

Yes, creators have to take it up the butt and not say anything, avoid butting heads. But vecterror and others with patreons do it because they make money!! Doing this to all modders scares free creators away and leaves just those with bigger reasons to do content (money). For free creators what's the point to create free addons in this conditions and deal with all this shit? It's clear why creators say fuck it and quit. At least here they should be welcomed to share....
Yes they keep quiet because it is an income, and for the skilled quite large. I think the problem here is not the mentality but rather what F95 stands for, equal to zero earnings, therefore I do not believe in it unless we are talking about those who offer their creation for free.

There are over 21000 free resources on the hub by who knows how many free creators. Most seem to be getting along with the rules just fine, myself included. A few years back some of us were worried that paid would take over but free stuff has kept pace.

What drove out free creators in the past was paywallers getting away with profiting financially off their free work and the mods not being able to effectively enforce the rules. In this regard, ash with all her thorns has done a lot of good work both in the resource submission area of the website with the var scanning, and automation of credits as well as requiring paid content to now be submitted for scanning. Paywallers used to be able to get away with a ton of BS that now they can't in large part thanks to all the hub changes and updates. These were changes that free creators had been requesting for years and drove several well known ones to quit because nothing was being done. These changes only took place after ash took over. Sometimes you have to take the bad with the good. I don't particularly love the new layout but I'll put up with it for all the added functionality and regular updates. We had a good 4 years where the hub was largely ignored and unchanged.

Hah, and what will she do? She'll shake her finger and say, "Oh, oh, oh, you can't do that, I'm warning you!" You have to defend your point of view when the truth and the arguments are on your side. But on the other hand, it's useless to argue with idiots. As the saying goes, "If a person is an idiot, it's for a long time." She's a nobody to me, and I have no name for her.
Well it sounds like she did more than warn you. If a mod tells you to stop, and you don't stop... even if it was some other mod that told you to stop, what were you expecting to happen?

Excuse me, but that remark. I'm shaking with fear:ROFLMAO:
The idea isn't to instill fear, it is to let you know to not be an idiot and try to fight moderation because it is pointless. Any website or service, most have in their TOS that they can remove you for any reason. If a moderator anywhere warns you to stop something and you keep throwing walls of text at them, regardless of if you are right, you are likely to get nuked and I would say it would be your own fault for ignoring the warning. That is just common sense.

I've been writing here for the last few days that I don't care if I get nuked, so just drop your Gandalf, whatever...

There are undoubtedly rotten apples among VAM paywallers. But your agenda is paywallers - negative. plus you are the devil's advocate, but that's ok. After all, all users borrow from each other. When I create skins I have borrowed the base skin called G2 and I then build on that, therefore I am someone who has stolen from the one who created G2 models. Well aware that it can't be used for all genres, but come on it's part of the game!. unless you directly copy other people's things, which of course is not ok. Meshed himself is a "money machine" he earns every single day from users who buy his license, and then there are the creators who develop material for VAM. He has spent is it 5 years? on developing VAM 2 and is probably unlikely to be finished before the end of 2026, or what?. So he is profiting from the expectation of VAM 2, which I am sure will be good. Any good leader would tell you that creating an environment where people feel valued creates energy and creation, the hub and its administration stand for everything opposite, and I don't want to spend any more time on it.

Regarding my problem, I think it's related to the licenses. After checking, and clearing the cache, etc., I have a whole list of characters that have reverted to the default character morphs. My settings remain, but the "morphs" from other creators that I was mixing with have disappeared from my HUB. So now I'm left with characters that all look alike, with slightly square faces. It's really annoying. The worst part is that I paid for some of them.

I expected rationality, common sense, and a specific reason for why the moderator was attacking me. Instead of an answer, I was met with silence.

Make sure you don't have any vars with chinese or non english characters in the name that you recently downloaded. If VaM fails to scan all vars on startup due to "ilegal characters" in var names it could be skipping all the vars your morphs are from. Sort your var folder by date and make sure none of the recent ones look odd either from characters or 0 data
