Ok yeah that might be right what I am looking for. Is that a plugin or anything you would recommend specifically? I am finding the whole interface pretty clunky, so far what I am doing is dressing up a look>saving>then loading it into vamx. But using firefox to get my assets then going in to get dependencies, then sorting through the mess to actually find stuff

(edit, followed the guide here: and got it working. Thanks for the tip you guys are the best!)
That's where I was going to point you.

a lot theorical is to define "working" through that bepinex project with simulated links around more than a reasonable GB size limit (for Vam)... there is a similar (nightmare) "solution" in a lot more advanced plugin (BrowserAssist by JayJayWon, no need to use bepinex): it's called "var manager".
But it creates just more issues than anything else if you think that you can play Vam editing without following all complicate sim-links method protocols.

The priority fun with Vam is the great possibility to (relatively) fast edit all elements in your scenes. If you can get rid of tons of sub-sub-sub-cloned banal looks and clothes, hairs sub-sub-assets, banal original (?) or cloned and sub-cloned skin files, tons of scenes with absurd technical issues, then you can get back the fun and the performance you were loosing when you save a parossistic number of (trash) var files. You can play without issues and with (relatively) very good performance Vam, only if you keep always in mind that "You can't have your cake and eat it too [meaning: eating and saving it whole]" .

Thanks, yeah as you said BA is similar with no bepinex but again, convoluted in it's own way.

Overall after checking out a lot of scenes I am pretty underwhelmed, I would say this type is what I would like more of:

Just imho, but VamX is such a superior experience at this point. I can access all my looks/clothing/etc, change between them and do whatever dance and posing I want with literally zero load time. All I need is the actual looks/clothing/dependencies for those specifics, and once saved in they're a click away. Eliminates all the bloat from having a ton of Vars and the UI is lockable and VR friendly with a ton of options.

If someone has scenes they think are superior feel free to prove me wrong..

Ispinox is/was one of my favorite... but really, a threesome it's not the ideal with vam (better than foursome, anyway :D) . About vamX... not totally tragic, but I would load it just in a custom vam install, with just a few of your best look presets. And then, forget it after some tests because it's a total mess ... an all in one mess, with a terrible interface, specially in it's so called AI options... but you will soon see by yourself what I mean.

I give you my sincere best wishes, but if you have time, you should try https://f95zone.to/threads/zeeko-collection-2025-12-24-zeeko-zeeko834.171237/ ... collection a lot worth playing, if you like good loops variations, scenes without issues, full compatible with editing/customize with your favorite vam-plugins (once you become more skill with vam).

Question: Is there a tutorial that shows how to create a scene from A-Z? For example, dancing and undressing.

The Virtamate forum is new to me and I still don't know how to navigate it properly.

I've already explored YouTube.

Hello, You'll find tons of tutorials on forums, YouTube, etc., but I've been making visual novels with Virt-A-Mate for two years now, and even so, you have to struggle a bit on your own once you want to create personalized things (clothes, hairstyles, etc.).
For animation, there are plenty of plugins. Again, be patient if you're not doing motion capture: "VAM Timeline," "Joint Correct," "Naturalis," "Shakeit"—all these plugins are the bare minimum for getting decent and natural animations.
The biggest challenge for me with Virt-A-Mate is also the shadows and lighting (post-magic, post-processing, etc.). It changes everything. (tru force pixel in the light parameter).
You can go from a scene full of characters that looks like a PS2 game to scenes with superb rendering just by playing with shadows and lighting.

So:
VAM timeline
Post Magic (downloads additional LUT packs)
Cloth Grab
Hair Let Loose
Naturalis
MORPH packs
That's the minimum.

Hello, could you recommend some top-tier scene creators?

I'm looking for content specifically optimized for VR. I want scenes that offer overwhelming interactivity and cinematic quality—something that feels truly alive and immersive when I play.

To give you an idea of my standards, I personally consider LutherSlade to be the gold standard. His scenes are the absolute best in VR, offering rich interactions and top-notch direction.

I've tried others like ZenMocap or KittyMocap, but honestly, their interactivity is weak. They just feel like 'chunks of 3D polygons' moving around—no vitality, no soul. JYY has a lot of action, but the lighting is poor and it feels a bit too amateurish for my taste. I need creators who make smooth, polished, movie-like scenes.

Also, I would really appreciate recommendations for look creators who specialize in Caucasian faces and overwhelmingly THICC bodies.

I really hate Asian aesthetic that floods this place, and most looks here are too slender. SplinVR is great quality-wise, but they lean too much towards realistic BBW. I need something more exaggerated—like a '140 out of 100' level of voluptuous sexiness, similar to those Skyrim CBBE mod big booty characters

Thank you so much for your good advice. I really appreciate it. You saved me a lot of time getting lost in the woods.

Just to show you the light:
With post magic, just one light in spot mod, force pixel:
Deepostmagic.png Deepostmagicpixel.png
Same with light in "point", not really good:
Deepostmagicpixelpoint.png
i Always active "force pixel" if i want a better skin.
Some scenes require multiple spotlights to achieve a realistic look for the characters and the textures of their clothing. This is especially true for daytime (sunny !) scenes, which are very...difficult to light.

And with post magic : DOF, grain, and bloom day002.png
