How do i progress the game? i cant figure out how to make time move, so people are in different areas or different events can occur. Talking to people doesnt do it, and working a job doesnt either. Is sleeping the entire day away in the bed the only option?

at some point the bin on top of the storage box will be moved, and you can just open it, however it takes a couple tries and a high enough strength
