Not sure if it has been said yet, but i think there is an issue in the tuturial, when i selected, ready to go, to leave the room the FMC is in, the game would just freeze, and i cant get anything to work, not even bringing up settings work.

Hey, do you have a save so we can reproduce the issue?
And does that one happen all the time, or only when you interact at a specific spot?

For anyone having problems to run the game on anything that isn't Wincrap, download an updated version of nwjs for your OS, and extract it into the game folder, run the game from the new executable
Tested on Linux and Mac

It might have been a total fluke, but after 2 attempts of the tutorial fight locking up after clicking "Docking Tube?" I clicked "Who's that?" Instead and was able to progress. The other thing I did differently compared to the first was making sure i used movement on the turn you're given the prompt that it is unwinnable. Very bizarre bug and I'm not sure at all why it worked after doing those.

We will look into it, might be a movement route or something that gets stuck, thanks for the report!

Just started out, but did I miss the dialogue, where Vas learns about Caly being able to read minds? There is suddenly a line of "You are gonna read my mind anyways?" or similar and Caly accepts that?
And the name Mitsu for the bee just suddenly appears, I think, without any "I will name you Mitsu" or "there is a nametag with the name Mitsu around its neck" line.
Also that first "Quest Completed" seems kinda amiss in the tension of the escape.
That mega man battle network style fighting is what I am looking forward to now.

Thank you for your feedback! We've made a note of all the things you mentioned and will deliberate on better texts/fixes by the next update :giggle:

Does this game have any game over scenes? As in the protagonist loses, and the game ends without giving her a continue?
Yes and no. While a loss at the hands of a random mob or even some bosses don't amount to a permanent game over, you do get access to loss scenes nonetheless. One way or the other, Caly gets another chance to have a go at it.

However, this changed a bit with the slime hostilities arc a couple of patches ago. Dependent on your choices, you may run into certain boss battles that, if lost, will net you a bad end which is essentially a permanent game over. You do get special scenes with these endings as well, but unlike the aforementioned normal losses, these ones will end your journey outright

Not to be the person that plays H games only for the scenes or anything. But is it possible for you to give some save files to these "permanent game overs"?

Does anyone have a hint or a suggestion as to where I can go?

EDIT: NVM I am just illiterate. But if you do get stuck on the quest like I did,

Side note: not sure if this is a red herring or not but I got on top of the wall here but I can't find a way to exit anywhere other than where I entered.

Tried restarting a couple of times but nothing happened.
You are missing the Live2D folder. The files your antivirus flagged as false positive. Couple of things you can do to fix this:

  • Exclude the Game.zip file in your AntiVirus interface and unrar the file contents again to a place that excludes your AV from scanning and constantly flagging the false positive.
  • If that doesn't work, do a quick restart and re-download the game entirely once again as your AV might still be interfering with the current file.
  • Or simply get in touch with us via our and we'll guide you through the troubleshooting process step by step. Look for @Candiru over there.

For anyone else having problem with stuttering, lag, and/or frame issue, try playing it on SSD. (or new HDD/Healthy HDD at least)
My HDD is more than 10 years old, it's a WD Black, still going strong, but for intense resource games, it's no longer capable of doing it. (Of course not going to play Cyberpunk 2077 on HDD)

I do have other HDDs but it's not for games, so far.... only two RPGM game I've put on SSD, which is:
- Karryn's Prison
- VoidBound

No more weird crashes, no other issues. Yeah.... my gaming HDD need to be replaced.

I just compared VoidBound to Karryn's prison, and we are both running on a newer version of NWJS (runtime package of rpg maker), that might be the cause of it'

Try it again with laptop, 2+ hours without error or crash on both games, but very laggy due to lack of processing power from CPU and GPU.
Either my PC have faulty memory (always check with Task Manager 'Resource Monitor') or aging HDD, thankfully it ran smooth on PC HDD (aging WD Black) for a while but always shut itself down on random occasions, can't pin point or recreate what cause it.

When the game shut itself down, checking with 'Resource Monitor' nothing seems wrong. Ex, something wrong is when 'Free' space on memory is somewhat full or always full when the game is running, either moving between maps or using load feature doesn't change the 'Free' space numerical.

Not gonna try it with other HDDs on PC, again... in my case, it ran smooth on SSD.
Thus I believe, aging gaming HDD

Which means, I'm impressed by how optimized it is. Despite many assets involved.
