I follow the LN, not the anime.Hoping to see content from LN Vol. 5 that were cut off from Season 3 which was a very bad idea! Mostly referring to Team Gremory vs Team Sitri Rating Game. If you ever planned to reach that point that is.
I do plan on covering all of them possibly, much like how I did with Overlord H.

I'm also a huge fan of this series and this might be the closest we'll ever have to see it fully adapted, with a couple of your added story writing.

you do understand that there are many countries in the world don't have 18+ as the age of consent standard right? japan (which DxD takes place in for the majority and the series is freaking created at) has their age of consent pretty low you know. even lower with parental consent via marriage. (if i remember right it was 13 for females, and 15 or something for males for marriage with parental consent but someone can correct me on this)

As I am a big fan of DxD, I played this game with great curiosity and I must admit that I like it so far. The game is a bit short, but it's in the early stages of production, so you can't complain. Will there be any erotic-romantic moments with Grayfia, Venelana, Gabriel, Yasaka, or Roygun in the future?
So how far do you plan to go in the game? You will see Issei's promotion to a high-class devil and the international Rating Game tournament (it would be interesting to take part in such games), or maybe the game will end earlier?

I am against any form of NTR, so characters with an existing relationship won't be touched. Story-wise, too, would suck.
The game gets updated monthly with a new release/episode, R4 which will be released this month will almost finish covering the first Volume. Not too far to include any meaningful amount of hentai content yet, but it's progressing in that direction at a steady pace.
I'd like to cover all of it, much like I did with Overlord H in the past, but if the game's size reaches a point where it becomes harder to manage, I'll have to split it in two or more series of game just like it's currently happening with my other project, Legacy of Hestia.
You can skip minigames and other gameplay elements by using Fire Points (FPs).
There's no losing condition in the delivery minigames, you can play as well or as badly as you want, and still make some kind of progress. However, if you are completely against playing any minigame, you can auto-win by using FPs, and that'll give you enough experience to increase your stats and continue with the storyline.
It's not a pure Visual Novel, but neither are sandboxes for instance. I needed to do some kind of interface outside of the Visual Novel loop since most of the frequent hentai content will happen with women living with you.
Characters Like Grayfia i undertand but and ones like Gabriel and Yasaka?Will you include scenes with them?
While both happen quite far in the plot from where the game currently stand, I cannot exactly promise this, but there's literally no reason why I wouldn't include Yasaka. She won't behave like the other main heroines (She cannot come live with you), but I can readapt the system I have in mind to work from the map instead (Maybe use the money to pay a fee to travel to Kyoto and back).
Gabriel can work in the same way as Irina, which also kind of coincides with the volumes (20+ ish), but taking longer since unlike Irina and Yasaka, she doesn't have feeling for Issei right away. Again, much harder to promise since that's many volumes away, but no reason not to include her.
Thanks it would be a shame to not include her considering her title as the most beatiful of heaven

i'd argue that it'd be a shame not to since azazel was propping her up and practically selling her to issei at one point. LOL (though as winter said it's super late story near the end of DxD first series before shin DxD started.)
in the meantime there's that non-cannon dream state thing winter cooked up. (i forget what it's called and too lazy to boot the game up)
I tested that issue today, and the animations were broken there for me as well. I believe I fixed them now (at least they work locally), but I haven't uploaded or tested the changes on itch.io yet. Just finished testing R4 (WebGL animations were the last issue left to fix for this release), so I'm beginning to build for all platforms now.as for itch.io testing... welp i can't get ANY of the animations to load in. i get stuck at "how may i serve you today?" after clicking on one of the options. >_> guess i have to stick to downloading off here.

I tried overlord H (previous game from same dev) and it was just "canon, but you have sex". So I am guessing we are actually forging issei's canon harem instead of forging our own harem?
Over the years people have requested the possibility to change name, and while in some parodies that's not possible, in this one you can from the settings (Both name and nickname, excluding the last name which is rarely used).
If you are called Tim, and friends call you Timmy, you can replicate the same names in the game.
While the game follows the canon story, it's not completely set in stone either (never has been in any of my parodies anyway, including the mentioned Overlord H), your choices will change the story in unique ways.
By canon, the protagonist creates a harem, but the game also allows you to create your harem in your own way, by for example including characters that in the series and other parody games have been chopped off, for example Raynare.
The sex scenes, in the same way as the rest of the story anyway, are also written in first person.
So if you are Timmy, the sex scenes will refer you as Timmy.
So, in short,
You play as (a version of) Issei, by (you) making choices as the protagonist, you will forge your own harem.
Following LN/anime to the T just means the same unsatisfying ending for many baddies amongst female characters, not to mention MC being an annoing idiot for the sake of "comedy". Id rather see some fanfiction style liberty where he actually gets to keep fallen angel trio as pets/slaves after defeating them non-lethally, lewds Asia day 1 and makes her Yandere, or gets a regression and acts as if he already knows the plot, like the reader does. Minus the butterfly effect. This? This feels a bit lazy.

i somehow get the feeling you'd like a fanfic i read recently and one-sidedly yapped to winter about. i'll DM you it.
but yeah winter's still cookin' man, just wait until butterfly effect takes hold to some extent. going by what all was talked about in the development thread some months ago, this tamed down version of issei is only the starting point. some events will be unavoidable like the 3 factions alliance and creation of DxD anti-terror swat teams. others will prob have a lot more drastic changes to them. winter be that guy that like to use canon as flagposts to know the path while weaving around them then possibly slitting off entirely depending on his end goals for the series based on what he and us thinks the series could've done a lot better.
