Funnily enough, this game was in the top 20 selling games on steam in dec 2019. So, i guess the dev is doing OK. (Steam don't actually say which game places where in the top 20, just what the top 20 are).

Is there a way to "trick" the computer that VR is running? Riftcat would kill my computer unfortunately.
I paid for this on Steam a while back, have 'played' it 4 or 5 times. Its titillating, but it's no Echhi Sensei!

New version has DLC girls, more customization (boob slider etc), and teleport anywhere, and currently has a lunar new year themed club with a limited time girl in a chinese outfit/hairstyle.
These guys are in it for the softcore stuff, they got their start on those desktop stripper games back in the day. What's nice though is that all the dances as far as I can tell are motion captured. It does really feel like you're in a strip club, which is nice. But I mean also if you want to be a perv you can get creative with the bottles of liquor in your inventory...

Honestly you could just replicate this in virt-a-mate and get better graphics, better physics, better animation, better customization and better interactivity. And ofc sexual content.

There's something to be said for a tight experience that knows exactly what it wants to be.
This thing is like being in a strip club.
Meanwhile I sat through two hours of VAM tutorials and I still barely feel I know what I'm doing.
It's really apples and oranges.

The most interesting thing here is the color of the club. No customization (at least I didn't find how to), nothing to do aside watch. Welp...
VAM is great and all but best of luck animating an actual stripper that looks smooth in VAM. Pretty sure the animations for this game are done by actual strippers, its not that easy to simply crank out a few minute dance when all you got are two controllers to work with.
VAM is many things, but easy to work with it is not. Animating atm also has no editing options, so you screw up your animation somewhere down the line? Tough shit, start from scratch.
Regarding this game, its pretty decent. Its exactly what the title says, a strip club with some really solid animations to go with it. It has its fair share of issues with clipping at times but overall if you're looking for softcore or something sensual this is quite solid.

Good Game i downloadet from Steam early Acces and now 1.2 is realy the best update free teleport and lighting optimization ok more Collision with Girls would be great and Sound have from time to time errors 1-2 sec but next uptade there a new Stripclub in future hope soon )))

I've played this one before. The models are really well done and the animation and sound design is top notch.

Haven't tried it myself but VRidge by Riftcat is software meant to use your phone as a VR headset for your PC. Basically you can use Google Cardboard as if it were an Oculus Rift. Not sure how well it would work performance-wise but they have a free demo
Only reason VAM is being hyped is by those that want to sell you stuff and only people that think its good are those that have pile of money to burn.

I'm not selling anything though? There's mocap animations of dances and stripteases available for free and VAM is directly compatible with all DAZ3D assets, which includes characters, clothing, locations, objects and animations. DAZ3D has a bunch of free assets and it's super easy to pirate what isn't. No matter how obscure the asset I wanted was I was able to find it. I even had success importing stuff people use in SFM porn, like the 2B and overwatch stuff. Meaning I could replicate those super hot SFM's in VR and interact with it in real time.
Sorry I made that sound like a sales pitch but I was just baffled at how you could think VAM is limited to the content 3rd parties are selling. The shit they make sucks ass just like most patreon game devs looking for a quick buck lol. VAM's merit is simply the powerful platform it provides. As an end user it gets its full value when you make your own stuff with various assets you yoink around the internet.
I guess if you just want to enjoy something right away this game has it's merits. I get that not everyone likes creating their own stuff, or even going through the effort of customizing things. One could say the people who would buy this are the same people that would buy VAM scenes from other creators. The paying audience is one and the same.
But anyway, I actually enjoy building my own scenes and making my own characters and all I see is just how much better this would be if it were a VAM scene instead. This could easily have been done in VAM and it would have given players an overall more fulfilling experience.

If you already have a suitable PC it's nowhere near as expensive as it used to be to get into. I got an Oculus Rift S on Black Friday for $350. The other good thing about VR at the moment is that very few games have any real DRM. You can basically get every VR game that's worth anything for free, the only exceptions being the ones that require online connectivity, like Pavlov. It really does make games like Custom Maid 3D2 and Honey Select 100x better. The only real downside is that if someone walks in on you, you will look like the most sad, pathetic, pervert ever. But then again.....the risk is worth it for big ass anime titties in your face and being able to make your cute maid finger her asshole infront of you.
